2	Help with the absolute basics: making friends I strongly recommend the book How to Make Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. You can find it in any bookstore or online shop. It pretty much touches, and goes into depth, on topics already brought up in this thread (getting other people to talk and relating to them) as well as other important topics.
