9	(Newbies) How To Maintain Your Alpha Traits While I agree with the majority of your post (especially mindfulness), I disagree with the friends part. Not only is it OK to have beta friends, it's also natural (evolutionary speaking). I have many beta friends whom I love, and in no way do I feel as if their "betaness" rubs off on me in the many years I've known them. If anything, that is a sign one is still struggling with their identity and easily prone to influence.
