WTF saw this on Political HumorWell, that's true 99% of the time. But weird things can happen between conception and birth. Hence transgendered people, etc. But for the purposes of what I meant, you're not wrong. I should have said, "wouldn't be able to tell the gender definitively [etc.]". | /r/MensRights | 03/04/13 08:17 PM
WTF saw this on Political HumorI was referring to the comic being inaccurate genius. Fetuses don't really 'decide' their gender until ~9 weeks? (not positive). The point is it's well after "a few weeks [in the womb". | /r/MensRights | 03/04/13 05:31 PM
WTF saw this on Political HumorThe only legitimate source of outrage. | /r/MensRights | 03/04/13 04:20 AM
In college, asked a women's rights activist about men's equality issues & about men being raped She exploded at me, and offended her gay guy friend next to her.+1 for "schlampe" Also: And THEN I said "As for rape.... I feel like you mean "she" not "I". Might clear it up a bit. | /r/MensRights | 20/03/13 05:33 AM
Men who oppose women's rights and freedomI agree. | /r/MensRights | 19/03/13 03:40 AM
Men who oppose women's rights and freedomDo I think women belong in the kitchen? No. Will I still make that joke? Of course. :P | /r/MensRights | 19/03/13 03:38 AM
Just in case people missed out on the story of Bridezilla. (X-Post SRSsucks)Probably not a wake in the middle of the night. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 08:46 PM
Just in case people missed out on the story of Bridezilla. (X-Post SRSsucks)She makes numerous comments and replies about privilege and misogyny and what not. People who aren't absorbed in the bad part of feminist culture don't spout out that stuff the second they get in an argument. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 08:43 PM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Well yea, I'm not relating what I see there to feminism as a whole. Just to those who post there. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:35 PM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...I disagree with your first point, and wouldn't call this first hand. I'd rather have the ability to recognize someone who believes this without them actually saying it. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 08:20 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...I don't know why you think you're doing me a favor >.> | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 08:16 AM
He goes overboard but I think he has a point. What do you think about divorce settlements?I think situations with celebrities, like this, stem from the wives being viewed as victims. Are they victims? Maybe. Is the crime punishable by the common "half your stuff/worth" probably not. You didn't earn it; you arguably helped in it, I can understand that, but you didn't do the work, your name isn't on the contract, it's not on the paycheck, it's just on the marriage license. Is compensations deserved? In the majority of cases, I'd be willing to bet yes. But in that much, that huge feelin… | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:59 AM
My father won't believe when I say that circumcision isn't needed anymore. How can I convince him otherwise?Shouldn't he have to prove it was necessary in the first place? On a semi-related topic. Has anyone ever done a comprehensive pros/cons list for circumcision? | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:39 AM
Girl starts fight but guy gets yelled at every time he intervenes.Violence is acceptable where all reason fails. It is our only universal language. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:35 AM
Girl starts fight but guy gets yelled at every time he intervenes.Frankly this title is misleading. He's not intervening he's defending himself. And he's not getting yelled at, they're telling him to let her go so she can leave. Problem is she wasn't ready to leave, hence the confusion. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:34 AM
Apparently "objectification" is not degrading when the subject is a man [NSFW links]I don't want to be the one to tell them about strip clubs... | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:19 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...But he's just one man, a statistical anomaly, as it were. There's whole bunches of these people out there, apparently. Note: I'm a firm believer that people are much more true to themselves on the internet, what with millions of miles of cable separating them from most of their action's consequences. EDIT: And to be fair he actually gained power with charisma and charm, among other things. He wasn't as blatantly bat shit crazy as what I'm seeing. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:16 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...I don't disagree, I think I'm just feeling shame for sharing the same basic DNA with these people. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:10 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Right but that's like the 6th thing that's wrong with them by my eye. EDIT: Oh I see what you mean. But yea, same thing. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:10 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...But that's the truly frightening part. We don't know if they're trolling or not. That's what I'm saying. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 06:05 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Touché | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:55 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Obviously, my point is that a joke stops being a joke when people start to take it seriously, hence my fear. The rules alone make me sit up and go, "WHAT?!" | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:55 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Thank you for not being one of those mods that doesn't read the reply to a "I'm removing this" comment. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:48 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...I don't share a species with the monkeys at the zoo. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:47 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Yea I edited them out before you posted this, there's even an edit line at the bottom. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:45 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...RE: So I popped over to r/srswomen just to see what all these posts about it were about. I've nearly lost faith in all that is logic and rhetoric. How is this unclear? EDIT: Why not actually answer the question if you know something I don't? | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:38 AM
Holy sh%t people. WTF...Fine with me lol I don't plan on changing this opinion unless someone shows me empirical evidence of everyone there knowing it's a joke. EDIT: I do see the "bot" in the name. Just saying it to say it. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/13 05:31 AM
r/MensRights, what can I, a non-feminist female say for men's rights/ more traditional views when bombarded in class by feminist agenda?Well in fairness I'm equally referring to bat-shit crazies from either side. But part of the college experience is learning that not all battles need be fought, and you should be especially careful not to fall on your sword. I gave up dealing with people like this barely into my sophomore year. It just wasn't worth the time. Others (not those I was arguing with) respected me for it in the long run. | /r/MensRights | 14/01/13 03:53 AM
r/MensRights, what can I, a non-feminist female say for men's rights/ more traditional views when bombarded in class by feminist agenda?Nothing. You can't say anything. These people don't play by the rules of logic. They don't follow the laws of reason, and they certainly don't understand the meaning of a valid argument. They are indoctrinated. Just like the bat-shit crazies on the other end of the spectrum, these people do not understand reason. Not to mention the immense mob mentality these people feel when they group together. Numbers are power to them. "Only together can we rise above." That simple truth-in-phrase from a leg… | /r/MensRights | 13/01/13 07:30 PM
Got kicked out of feminist classIf they're browsing /r/MensRights, it's pretty much a certainty. | /r/MensRights | 10/01/13 09:01 PM
Got kicked out of feminist classRight, but in these analogies the direction matters. Hand is to palm as foot is to sole. (or whatever you call the bottom of your foot.) Palm is the 'underside' of your hand. Same for sole and foot. If you said: Hand is to palm as sole is to _____. Anything that has a sole could fit there, foot, shoe, whatever. The analogy is just "B is some part of A, therefore A is some part of B." It's not the same thing without considering the direction of the comparison. | /r/MensRights | 10/01/13 08:36 PM
Got kicked out of feminist classActually if you extend what you said to the analogy form (which most people do subconsciously) you're basically saying: Feminism is to evolution as [all that stuff OP said] is to religion. It's only because you worded it that way that people took issue. You essentially did exactly what you're complaining about. | /r/MensRights | 10/01/13 08:24 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.Well yea, that's the entire point of the alpha man-child mentality, women are things. I'm just not seeing why you're surprised it was used here to describe that very being. She's not commenting on the women who are being pumped and dumped when using the phrase, that's what the rest of her post was for. In short: The fact that she would decide to use the phrase "slut" gives the impression that women who have a lot of sexual partners are bad. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:40 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.Shattershift I think I speak for a lot of us here when I ask, "Who are you proposing has "got it" here? Suz (the author) or the feminists criticizing the post." | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:35 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.I think what she's saying is that her son has the option, but he's not making the first move (maybe because he doesn't have to), as opposed to the "sluts" she refers to, that actively seek numerous sexual partners. I mean, is it the pot calling the kettle black? Maybe. Her claim is that essentially, women who do this are far more likely to be ruined from a marriage perspective, as where men are not. I don't agree that men have it any easier in this regard. I don't equate any of the skills/traits… | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:34 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.Except 'pump and dump' was used to describe girls with beta JustFriends being pumped and dumped by average alphas, and then running crying to the arms of their JustFriends saying, "Why can't they be more nice like you?" | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:14 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.Have you not been to college in the past 10/20 years? | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:11 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.I'm pretty sure that's giegerwasright's point. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:10 PM
I found this letter being criticized over in r/feminism. It's good see that some people really get it.You're not a hypocrite if you got married for the right reasons. I'd be a hypocrite if after buying into all this, I went out and let these women string me around. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/12 07:09 PM
Woman here, quite the feminist, but reassessing my views. It's the same situation as racism. What is the definition of racism? a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race racial prejudice or discrimination No where in there does it imply in which "direction" it goes. (e.g. white people discriminating against black people) Yet we still have this made up term floating around called "reverse racism". Thinking that "reverse" racism is a thing i… | /r/MensRights | 11/12/12 08:14 PM
Curious girl here, hoping you could answer some questions?Yes. More unfairly? Yes. Do I actually care? No. It shouldn't matter who takes it more. Only the fact that it happens is a problem. It's not a contest to see who has it worse. (I'm excluding the third world from this statement, no one argues that life sucks for women there.) It's no longer an issue in the same way black people's rights are no longer an issue. Society no longer has a problem as a whole. It's individuals. Granted there are some high ranking, powerful individuals who make the probl… | /r/MensRights | 08/12/12 08:01 AM
Sick of being profiled. It's fairly simple. People are fucking stupid. Don't beat yourself up because people are morons. Especially old people. | /r/MensRights | 21/11/12 08:47 AM
