Stoic/Existential philosophy is faux intelligence and nihilism that leads you nowhere as I said. You can recognize what the world is without enveloping yourself in some unnecessary pessimism. Incels exist because they were told to “man up”, not because they didn’t. And unfortunately, stoically saying “it is what it is” doesn’t seem to be helping men with their problems as evidenced by the past decade of statistical evidence we can look at

I was responding to this part of the OP. And I stand by what I say. Women can make any standard or boundaries for themselves they choose. In the above statement he literally says women should just lower their standards and go out with men they do not wish to date or have sex with. My point is that women are happy to be alone rather than do this so it’s men’s problem. If I go out looking for an item but can’t find what I’m looking for then I don’t buy something I don’t want to just because I must…

You’re unintelligent because you’re not engaging with the question/statement that he’s proposing and you’re using awful logic to reach the conclusion. You seem to deny a very basic reality that standards are reflective of the counterparts they intend to pursue, which is true, you can’t contest this. This guy was speaking about online dating, I don’t know why he believed he would get anything but superficiality from such a market, especially when it’s 80% Men. But if you’re speaking to irl, women…

Uhh you do get to tell people what their standards should be, that’s how society works. How do you think the trends we see today in women and mens body even came to be? You think these people work out, and sculpt their body similarly to one another for themselves? Maybe, but a lot of people couple that with wanting to be desirable, tuned to the standards of the other gender. You’re coping because your denying the basic social order. I don’t even agree with the OP but you just sound unintelligent…

You’re the one coping lmao. Older and fat women get it worse than men, you shouldn’t be encouraging them to have those standards

Men do far more “emotional labor”(dumbass term) than women. It’s just ours is no counted whilst socially women have theirs double counted for whatever reason. The problem is, the worst of male entitlement goes in regard to sex, in which men place expectation upon that. But the vast majority of sacrifices made socially, culturally, emotionally and even economically are placed upon men who do not expect anything in return for their work. With this, it’s absolutely crazy that some of the rhetoric y…

Because there’s no catch all to navigating something as organic as interaction, sure you can be told a few things, like be attractive, funny, well dressed, car, job, have good hygiene, etc. But in regard to the act of flirting, and engaging with someone genuinely there isn’t much that can be “instructed”.

You’re not saying “society just has sexist standards”, if you’re acting as though marital rape law that was federally mandated in 1993, which would only be mandated if it was reflective of the populations beliefs at the time, wasn’t impactful are that that wasn’t a long time ago. And if you think the existence of sexist people means society holds on to sexist standards then once again I don’t know what world you live in, do you think the goal should be to remove all sexist people? Do you think t…

But yet the prevalence of said crime was dramatically lower than it was 20-30 years ago, and the entire point of it being federally mandated was that people had been long since shifted against that practice being normalized. You obviously have no conception of how law works and believe that these things simply just “happen”, and aren’t based around phenomena. In other words that law wouldn’t be passed if the population wasn’t already understanding that marital rape is wrong Yes they do take time…

And yet my entire point, is that by 1993, the arguments and reasoning for said law were slur the window, which why it was repealed, do you think laws get overturned at the drop of a hat? No these things take time, and were thus reflective of a shift within the population’s opinions on the subject matter which changed for the better. And all of that you said is so unfortunate, but the totality of modern women in the U.S currently haven’t been lobotomized, institutionalized, or abused for masturba…

How many people do you think were using marital rape as a defense for raping someone within the year 1993? Do you seriously think marital rape was this supported construct during that time period, or a Spectre of a law that the government was already on course to rectifying???

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
