Sure, if they were arguing about feminism as a whole this would make sense as a rebuttal, but you can’t just say every feminist is malicious or borderline sociopathic, then when someone confronts you on the obviously false claim, be like “Woah, obviously not ALL feminists are that way”. That still carries an implication that most are that way, when the reality is that most are not. Like believe me, all of my sisters are self avowed feminists, and I have infuriating debates with them all the time…

I should have rephrased that. I meant no sympathy for people of the other sex. I’m not naive, this is my experience, and I have met truly awful women, but I’ve met more awful men (being a man I meet more men I’m not saying that men are worse even in my experience, I just have a larger sample size). You don’t have to be sexist to be realistic about the world.

I mean sure they are different, but repression of emotions is a societal thing, not a biological thing, and to act like anger is not just as powerful of an emotion as fear is pretty wrong. Anyways, biologically our emotions aren’t really that different.

I agree that good and bad are broad term as, but they are useful. My entire point is that people aren’t “bad” because they have the wrong ideas, I’m not sure where you got the idea that I think people are bad for having bad opinions. Dae Feminism bad because Men’s Rights good. It’s like these people don’t know that Men’s Rights is an issue for women as well (the way men are treated effects women as well) and women are also treated unfairly by society. Feminism, as it actually is, sure, but feminism as it’s defined is figuratively fine. Anyways, the original comment didn’t call out feminism, but said that feminists lack all empathy, which is just an absurd and hyper-generalized statement. I think people may confuse ironic conservatism for real conservatism. We like to make jokes about women belonging in the kitchen and the like far more than millennials would ever dream of and some of that may come off as genuine conservatism, but the reality is that non my experience, my generation is the most progressive yet.

Yes it is safer, but at what point does one innocent individuals safety trump another’s. The cases where an individual is killed during birth are exceedingly rare, and I would argue that to take another life to save your own, especially when that person is not morally culpable for the risk of your life, is a morally abhorrent action.
