The actions afflicted against those are downright disgusting and disgraceful. Yes of course it can lead some to believe that. I’m not defending that at all. Ideology is always up for interpretation by individuals. Just because a proportionately small part of a group have a toxic mentality that doesn’t represent the majority. If it’s the label of feminism you disagree with then I understand. Obviously this is just my experience based on interacting within feminist communities, and I don’t want to de value if you’ve had bad experiences, but that is genuinely not what most people who take up the label of feminism believe. The definition of feminism is to establish political, economic, personal and social equality of the sexes.
