I think OP's issue is that they think the statement "Men need to learn boundaries." is a true statement and a feminist statement, so the friend arguing against the validity of the statement and how it's bigoted shows how "feminism is bigotry". Despite anyone's opinion about feminism, the statement being bigoted does not make feminism bigoted - to conclude this is wrong.
