Not the same but, I remember a time where I was at a bar having a great time. I'm pretty friendly and find it easy to get a long with people so I end up chatting up everyone around me. On this particular day I remember at least 4 different people asking me if I knew where to find cocaine. I felt the same way you just mentioned. I was thinking "Shit, this is how people see me. Someone who does or at least knows where to find coke." Truth be told they were right.

I couldn't agree more with the educational point. I joined the operator engineer union (Cranes and Backhoes) and I make $32 an hour. More than half of my HS friends that went to the local colleges and universities don't make what I make and those that do, 40k in debt and they just kind of like what they do.

I agree with the second part as far as the single parent thing goes. I have 3 relatives where their ex wifes have turned the child against the father with no regard to the child's mental well being.
