Yeah I pray every night that it's not. As I mentioned above when I went through a depression episode we did hook up. So it's a chance.

I actually considered this since I work remote. I'm not sure how this would work because I think they can still garnish my wages no matter where I live.

I'm in the US and from my understanding you can't. I did some research on it and came across this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSCdP9uCnz8&t). Basically if I deny taking the paternity test I can end up in jail.

About the assault case or paternity issue? Because with the assault case I have contacted the prosecutor and asked why this is a misdemeanor now. They haven't returned my calls or emails yet. With the paternity related issues, I don't see a reason to until the child is born and it's proven mines. I may be wrong, and if I am let me know.

Yeah I agree completely it's a sad reality we really have no rights or say in these situations. I try not to believe it, but as I get older and I saw how I was treated in terms of DV, I realized then that this game is rigged. I gave the police 4k video evidence of abuse against me, but if the roles were reversed I would be sitting in prison right now.
