At least the a Humane Society attempts to place animals, or puts them up for adoption for a few weeks. PETA just straight up kills them all, and not in a humane way at all.

A guy I work with had that happen, not once, but three times. DNA test proved they are all his, his wife insisted on it, as she said she had always been faithful (they're Mormons). That already had 4 kids, I guess the church elders had other plans.
