Are you retarded? 1 - there is research that girls are more proficient than boys until the age of 10, where there is a noticeable decline which scientists theorize is due to socialization, not genetics. www.google.com is your friend. The reason Summers was "lynched" is because many people, including fathers raising daughters, felt that notion was untrue based on their own experience. Their experience is consistent with research. Here's research demonstrating that at minimum girls are as good in …

You sound like a 15 year old nutcase. And completely uneducated even for a 15 year old. Female circumcision, which is the medical equivalent of cutting off your dick, is comparable to male circumcision? Do you know how a clitoris works? And I assume you're going to argue with the American Academy of Pediatrics that the intent of female circumcision is to diminish and even remove the sexual pleasure of women? And to ensure she's tight for her husband? How the fuck is that comparable to male circu…

Wait, you're trying to argue that programs like Bridezillas are MORE offensive to men than to women? Are you high? Look dude I'm the first one to call out bias. I'm also the first one to take a measured, reasoned approach when defining it. Also, considering you seem to be fond of using the old fallacy arguments, I'll warn you of two important facts about me, which you're free to dispute: (1) I'm an attorney, and (2) I teach logic to college students. Your present and historical use of the common…

"We men just make bad decisions. We can't help it. We’re men." "Women, on the other hand, do almost everything better." "We men will just make inappropriate comments, send you lewd photos and make asses of ourselves." There are many other examples. Nobody is being "hypersensitive" to these comments when they get offended by them because they are offensive. There is no logical defense for bigotry, and that includes this trash. This is very common in women's-directed literature too. But in the rev…

Upvoted. It's whining like this that diminishes public sympathy for the MRA's. There is no real bias evident in the article; I read it entirely as a opinion piece with a comical tone. The internet is littered with similarly toned articles directed at women. Kind of reminds me of fluff Cosmo pieces that drove my ex nuts. Most women don't take them seriously.

While I think that is sometimes true, I don't perceive this to "rub it in men's faces." I think to perceive it that way reflects a lack of confidence in the reader regarding his own abilities, not a lack of sensitivity on the writer. I'm a pretty good investor for instance, and I'm not insulted in the slightest. I also think: Many socially marginalized groups, whether self-identified, such as MRA or historically, such as women, can develop hyper-sensitivities to language, imagery, etc., that fro…

I guess every party needs a pooper, but these "gender X is better at activity Y than gender Z" are pretty common on both sides of the chromosome aisle. Men are better at picking cheats Men are better at resisting dietary temptation Men are better at driving Men have a better sense of direction Do an archive search on Google? Yeah, there's a lot more. I'm all for outrage over legitimate inequalities, but this doesn't raise my eyebrow considering there are, indeed, documented and scientific differ…
