Good job taking advantage of the opportunity that was presented to you!

Not an expert by any stretch, but I have some insight you may find useful. Dating people you don't find attractive is staying in your comfort zone. If you are totally inept at some of the basic social skills then practice with less attractive girls (actually just practice with anyone at all!) will be useful. I think the potential for usefulness is pretty low though, especially if you are relatively solid in your basics. If you want to develop your game, then less attractive women will only get y…

Woah. A post I can actually help with!... by linking you to a video of someone who can actually help you.... haha. It is not exactly what you are talking about but I think there is some stuff in here that you could apply. James Marshall has an awesome way of describing things and is and excellent public speaker IMO. Check out his video on the dynamics of having multiple relationships here.

I just searched "how to hug" on YouTube. Was pretty disappointed.

Huh? What is irrational, insecure, or arrogant about going to a friend (or a professional!) and saying something to the effect of "Hey, I'm trying to meet more women with this dating app thing. Problem is all my pictures suck and it makes it harder to match! Can you do me a favour and help me take some better pictures of myself?" Seems like a pretty reasonable request to me...

Cool guide man, I particularly like the "listen to each other" advice. Sometimes it is easy to see from an outside perspective what might be slipping by unnoticed by the person themselves.

I'm no expert (actually quite a noobie) but I think I can give you a few useful questions to ask yourself. How is she supposed to know that you like exclusivity pre-dating? You are aloud to have what ever preferences you like (i.e. your preference for girls who commit exclusively to you when you start seeing each other) but how is she supposed to know that unless you tell her in a straightforward way. Do you "fuck about" with other girls while seeing this girl? If you do and you expect her not t…

I've seen this push/pull topic mentioned a lot as I've been browsing seddit these past few months. It seems like a powerful technique! Anyone have any resources (posts, links, etc.) that give a more thorough description?

Read Models by Mark Manson! Do it. Also, push your comfort zone and intentionally do things you know will make you uncomfortable with the realization that doing so will make you a better, more well-rounded person. Take a salsa class, take an improv class, take a potery class, join an ultimate league, join a toastmasters club.

Sorry to hear that bro, acne sucks I hear you. You're here looking for help and so I want to offer what little help I can. I don't know your situation and your details (and I don't expect you to share them with me), but I want you to ask yourself honestly: Have I explored ALL my options for reducing my acne? Have I literally done everything in my power to the best of my ability? If you haven't, home in on that and give it a shot, nothing to lose. A few solutions come to mind: See a doctor (there…

lol okay. So to your question of 'How can you be a successful seducer?'. I answer with the following: One way to become more attractive (and thus more easily seduce women) is to improve the health of your skin/improve your complexion! I too suffer from acne and have found the advice on /r/skincareaddiction to be helpful. If you want to become a more successful seducer, I recommend that you, among other things, check out that subreddit!

The legal drinking age in the US is 21. As a 19 yr old he is unlikely to be able to order alcohol in a bar or restaurant.

The problem with this article is that the author treats the 'PUA community' as one homogenous group, imposes on that group certain characteristics (that only actually apply to a small sub-sect) and then proceeds to criticize the whole group on that basis. It's total bullshit. Seddit for me is not at all about AMOGing or Girlfriend Slaying. It's not about learning scripts, routines, or learning to pretend like you are confident. Instead it is about self-improvement, self-reflection, and reinforci…

Dude you answered your own question at the end there. If you think she is not allowed to see other men while seeing you but you are allowed to see other women while seeing her then this is a hypocritical double standard. You've been on ONE date with this girl. She owes you nothing. You owe her nothing. You are both having fun meeting and seeing new people. You are both playing this awesome game we call dating. IMO you want a girl who has lots of options when you first start dating them. Girls wh…

No worries! I guess I could have been less bitchy haha. After you've read most of the stuff in the side bar you should read Models by Mark Manson. Great book. It gets at some of the fundamentals of attraction.

Have you read Models by Mark Manson? If not I suggest you read that. From your post it sounds like you need to spend a lot more time investing in your self and becoming more comfortable and confident. Models breaks that process down and explains why it is so important for attracting women.

I like this. Polarize them and make them chase you/decide. That way you find out if she's really in to you. Also, you could just call her out. Say something like: "I'm interested in you, and I want to take you on a date (or some other equivalent phrase), but it seems like you're playing hard to get. Are you in to me or not? I don't really have time for girls who play games" (you be the judge on whether this is appropriate for your situation i.e. if you know her well enough, have spent time givin…

This doesn't answer your question but... What I have done in the past is to watch other guys dancing in the bar. Stay somewhat sober and look around at the guys who you think look cool. Watch what they do and try to copy it. Might feel dumb at first but with practice you'll get a feel for what you like and what looks good :)

Extremely skinny guy here who has recently become less skinny. Extremely strict diet!!?? No way dude, skinny dudes have the best fucking body type by far, hands down, no question. The ONLY rule you have to follow strictly is eat a lot. Like an uncomfortable amount. I'm talking take what you eat in an ordinary day right now and double eat. Every time you eat you should eat until you feel like puking. Okay you get the point. There is a caveat to this. You have to be working out consistently while …

Jeez. Super broad request for advice. Actually it's only because you're interested in any advice that I feel qualified to give it (I am pretty new to this scene). First off, read an intro book on seduction. The first one that comes to mind is Models by Mark Manson. Secondly read all the material in the side bar under the "new here?" heading. Thirdly, and more specific to your situation, make plans to hang out with her 1 on 1. While you're hanging out use your body language, eye contact, and play…

My guide to a healthy relationship! (I admit that this can be difficult but I believe strongly that you should always strive for this) 1) Establish clear boundaries with your partner. Talk about what you are not comfortable with them doing (i.e. having female friends is fine but acting on your sexual interest with anyone other than me is not fine). A comprehensive list can't ever be created at the start of a relationship so when new issues arise you have to be proactive about telling your partne…

I'm not a pro but I think there is something to be said for focusing on personal growth to help connecting with people and attracting women. First off, BE INTERESTED. In the world, in people, in music, in everything. By being open, interested, and always looking to learn more you become more interesting yourself. What does this mean? I'll make a short list of things you could do (the list could go on and on). Read more. Read the news, read fiction, read biographies, read what ever the fuck you w…

Best advice I can give? It's not at all related to your dancing question. He needs to get on this sub-reddit. There is so much great information here. He needs to learn about inner game and the importance of cultivating a life style and personal habits that he can be proud of. Does he want to attract highly desirable women? Then he needs to become a highly desirable man.

I'm no expert but... I think that there is a difference between the good posture that you use in your marching band/military and a more casual everyday-good posture. You are thinking that in order to have "good posture" you have to walk around like you are marching in your band, with that rigid back, puffed out chest, military style walk. This is wrong. As far as I understand it, when Seddit tells you to have good posture this simply means keeping your head up (imagine a balloon pulling up on th…

Two Things: 1) Any of the stuff that focuses on Inner-game will be interesting for you I think. Inner-game is all about the confidence, self-improvement, being/becoming happy with who you are and what your life is like. It's about the personal attitudes that make you less needy less willing to curb your opinions and actions to please others. 2) Check out: "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. I haven't read it myself but I've seen it recommended a lot here.

TL/DR: Actions generate reactions. That's how communication works. What's important is being able to take actions without NEEDING a certain reaction for validation. I'm new to this but I'll offer my understanding and maybe you'll find it useful. This advice "don't expect a reaction" has to do with being fundamentally confident in yourself (being less invested in what others think of you than what you think of yourself). Think of Mark Manson's True Confidence. It also is related to being outcome …

Approachanxiety this is an amazingly inspirational story! Thanks so much for sharing. It is very well written and easy to read, keep it up! I'm just starting out on this path of self-improvement and I'm very excited by the type of material that I'm finding. The emphasis in this community is on self-improvement, on becoming the best version of yourself, and on understanding that women don't owe you their attention and that you have to work to earn it.
