I think Roe has a longer reach but Wade has a better ground game. I could see this one going to the judges unless Wade can get him in the half guard. 3 rounds by submission

Like my friend who went crazy on it and thought he was dying said, "that's what you get with illicit drugs" lol. It's dangerous for anyone to take it it fuckin changes shit in your brain. No one's taking drugs in a safe and controlled environment

For the longest time I wanted a woman who was super duper into me so I would try to establish a worshippy dynamic early on. As you can imagine that made me look pretty fuckin weird. The quicker you can demystify everything about dating and realize everyone is human like yourself the better you'll do.

Huberman is dope. If you think about it most of your best friends were originally brought about through event circumstances. We play as kids and we play with whoever's around. Then propinquity kicks in. This is completely normal and how friends come about. Nobody is verbal Vulcan mind melding with strangers. Men especially.

Funny you bring this up I quit sugar recently too. Down from 6 cans of soda a day and whatever sweets to like one vitamin water and no sweets. It's been a lot easier to think. I've also quit caffeine so can't separate the two variables but I feel like a whiz kid compared to my normal self, as well as more motivation and a better mood. Iirc sugar inflames the brain. We tend to separate our cognition from the idea of it being a functioning organ because I can't feel my kidneys right now eg.

Sometimes drugs can teach you how to be. Think too much? Maybe a joint will make STFUing more concrete. Psychedelics are known to help people with shit they do later. So like drug user the status no but drug user the headspace it depends.

Slacker (1990.) This is gonna be a deep cut but it inspired Gummo. Filled with 90s stoner philosophy, it's a stream of consciousness type deal. They'll focus on one conversation then the guy will leave and it will focus on the guy he was talking to's conversation and so on.

I've recently developed this symptom after 3 or so months since I had Covid. Anything that tastes particularly fatty has a terrible but subtle undertaste to it. I can't figure out the chemical contributor for smells. I think it's a case for neurological damage for "long covid." I'm not fully convinced however.

Maybe some psychedelics would help. But yeah I'd generally agree. I was talking about this to a guy earlier, that all language thought is post-hoc and based on what chemistry you already have. So consciously changing thoughts isn't going to do anything outside of intellectual reassurance. You have the animal brain thats the reality perceiver and you have the language brain that's the head lawyer. Head lawyer is constrained to the frame of whatever the perceiver sees. Let's say like with CBT I'm …

Imagine you ask someone how to change a tire on a car. They show you how to change a tire on a bicycle and expect you to think the two are similar enough to draw a good conclusion from. That's how you sound to the Practical Man. With your clown fish and shit. It's the same thing with the chimpanzees and bonobos. Fairly the same relatedness to us, two completely different social structures. Bonobos hand out sex like candy, chimpanzees rape and beat their women. So genetic relatedness doesn't real…

Well, to be honest with you, I was hoping to give you a little reality check. I don't mind the actual point you were making, which boils down to dimorphism, and I assume most people here agree with it. The way you write says some things about your character, and when I see someone who does this kind of thing, I tell them they're full of shit, because in my opinion it contributes to an elitist agenda to exclude certain people from discussion. It also makes it a lot easier to rationalize wrong ide…

When you're here there's usually a level of basic understanding the audience should have. Even if they didn't know the term they could google it pretty quickly. From knowing your audience you'd know that most people are going to agree with the dimorphism part anyways. /r/PurplePillDebate19/02/21 07:27 PM

Hey man, the first half of this is wrong. The school in Spanish is still la escuela regardless of whether a woman or man is saying it. Same with baño, women don't call it baña. The words do specify gender but the idea that you can tell the gender based on who's writing is wrong.

Anything about Sandy Hook like that tone. Lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/21 12:05 AM

That's not what I said. I can go out and see "hurr durr cold" on the front page right now. I could have never seen that re Sandy Hook. Not even Sandy the hurricane which was your point earlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 10:06 PM
1

I mean I'm not lying argue with Google lmfao. I doubt anything about Sandy Hook like that tone was getting to the front page of Reddit though. And yeah there was a lot of hurricane Sandy memes. None of the memes were "hurr durr it's just a bunch of water," though, which uniquely puts the onus on the victim.

Hole in the ground was in response to lethargic bureaucracy 5 years after the fact. Texas shit is happening now. I looked up "Sandy hook tweets negative conservative" and actually couldn't find anything.

Anything within the bdsm framework isn't "real Domming" lol. That's my point.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 06:58 PM
-1

Well, that's the idea of a Dom. That's what real Domming is. Simulated Doms might be more physically dominant but I'd argue they're psychologically less dominant than even vanilla sex because the woman can say stop at any time with a basically prearranged word or phrase or whatever, which doesn't even extend to vanilla sex. Basically what I'm saying is if you want to be dominated get fucking dominated. Won't satisfy the sub need through LARP as much
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/21 04:57 PM
-1

Any regulations to the Dom risks topping from the bottom. Of course don't hit me in the fucking nose is a reasonable standard, but having 10 safewords and mandatory aftercare is actually less subby than just having vanilla sex. Imo mandatory aftercare would make it less special anyways when aftercare is actually given. Think about slot machines where they pay off but at random variables with random intensity.

Male ENFJ 83 O 5 C 72 E 0 A 24 N I'd say one thing about the FeNi combo is there's an inherent lack of naturalness to experiencing a social situation; that doesn't mean I won't appear natural, it means like if somebody says something there's going to be a ton of subtext going through my head when it's said. While this can be accurate a lot of the times, we're limited to our own perception of events, so relatively benign statements can be confirmation bias'd into an avoidant attachment style. ENF…

If you're going to act like more people know who Alex Jones is than Don Lemon then yes. And then furthermore which is dismissed as crazy vs which has a respected voice.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 08:12 PM

Let's equate Don Lemon and Alex Jones when one is on national television and the other is an obscure website owner who would not be let in front of a public network tv camera. Fair.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 06:43 PM

Well, first off, let's take the Don Lemon example. He was on television in 2017-18ish mocking poor white people, in a stereotypical appalachian accent, that "I don't need none of your fancy learnin'." Type of thing. Let's imagine Sean Hannity going on live tv doing a ghetto accent. Let's have an actively poor white kid look for scholarships and see that although he's in poverty too, he doesn't qualify for them. When he asks, tell him it's because he's a racist and hateful person. Let a white gir…

And my response was that groups that are also apathetic towards issues that don't involve themselves get special treatment.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 05:20 PM
1

No. My top line comment was arguing that these people have silenced voices. You used racism, sexism, homophobia as an excuse for apathy towards this silencing. I pointed to a group that also exhibits sexist and homophobic tendencies whose voices are met with active listening ears. So clearly, in the eyes of the public at least, sexism and homophobia aren't the metrics being used.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/21 05:15 PM

The African American community is notoriously rife with homophobia and while they do get criticized for the homophobia specifically, it's hip to be a crime apologist for them.

Keep telling the poor and stupid hicks that their poor and stupid voices mean less, and justify it by giving them thought tank abstractions. Delegitimize any poor and stupid thought they have by arming the country clubbers with the same ivory tower bullshit they eat up to remind themselves how not poor and not stupid they are. Have Don Lemon go on television and make fun of the poor and stupid for not knowing where Ukraine is, and in the next breath talk about how "you have to understand crime f…

Due to nutrition and shit if you're an average IQ person your IQ is two standard deviations above a person in 1900. If you inflate the average 100 IQ to their time you would have the IQ of the average PH.D graduate, and if you deflate their IQ to our time they would pretty much be retarded. Psychopathy is lack of empathy. A lot of people think that empathy levels can be altered through some type of conscious, cognitive mindset change. Which is objectively false, empathy has been around before cognition was ever a thing. Ability to feel empathy is a gene first and foremost. I can develop psychopathic tendencies, or act more psychopathic, but there's not going to be any significant change. It's like rogaine. What's more accurate is the people that get to the top are psychopathic on t…

Alright but let's act like the average guy in terms of success. Maybe you're an insurance adjuster or some shit. 28 or so. You go on the internet and write this: https://www.reddit.com/r/asktrp/comments/jukz24/shit_test_where_are_your_friends/ Is this guy's worrying about a shit test when he was 14 going to lead to him becoming crazy socially successful? Or does the added stress from being the type of guy who writes about that kind of shit make him lower status in social sets than if he just dro…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 02:55 PM
1

Lmfao I just saw that. My fault. Basically what I meant was that there's an assumption that men that find these places are low status. In the middle of writing that there was this strange smell of burnt toast distracting me.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 02:45 PM
1

You're consistently missing my point. Elon Musk has to be at least like 90th percentile at doing what he does before he even has to worry about being at the top. But your average guy. Some scrub. Johnny at the hardware store. Does he benefit from thinking like that? Probably not. He doesn't have the assets to make something big of himself nor the liabilities of someone fucking him over big time.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 02:36 PM
2

I agree it's a high variability strategy, and my argument is intended to hone in on the average guy. Is it worth it for the average guy to have to worry about it? On the whole I would say no, the cortisol from having to worry about all that shit necessarily makes them low status so it's kind of a self fulfilling prophecy
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 02:17 PM
2

Absolutely. You also get the added effect of being a hammer and seeing everything as nails.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 02:13 PM
2

Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. There's understanding that lifting weights will make you a better guy, and then there's lifting weights so you take up more space so you don't get mogged. It's two completely different frames and the point of the post is the latter frame is neurotoxic.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/20 02:12 PM
5

On the other hand, I also can see how seeing the world as a status game in that way is a necessity for anyone who wishes to rise to the top of it. Well yeah there's a big high status CEO and then there's your normal every day guy. You give the every day man all that knowledge and he's not going to excel due to its limited scope. While most of those guys were Robert Greene acolytes they were also abnormally amazing in whatever field or got lucky due to circumstances. It's definitely a high variab…

/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/20 11:19 PM

Yeah but if I come on here and say "caffeine is one of many aspects of an underlying problem of anxiety" then people will just use whatever percent they already thought it was in their little head canon and keep scrolling. If I had to put a number on it it would probably be around I don't know like 50 percent. But it's the fact that we always have the narrative of "oh this generation is more anxious because of the polarization of politics" or some shit is always paraded around, and it's never "y…

I don't think I can really agree with that completely considering the wife berth of people past the age of 30 who I could definitely be described as overly neurotic and anxious (this whole recent election business is kinda proof enough of that) Now imagine the same situation but 30 years ago. The argument is that the 2020 group of same age people would be more anxious than the 1990 same age people. No matter what situation they were actually in. The argument isn't people at different ages now ar…

Yeah we've got a Starbucks on campus. It's never empty. If I go in there at 9 PM they'll be a line. I guess if it's just like coffee consumed as the metric boomers will have two or three cups but when you go to Starbucks you just get the one.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/20 08:54 PM
3

But did boomers drink more caffeine when they were 27 compared to a current 27 yr old? Can't compare the two ages in 2020 because age will burn out neuroticism and latent anxiety. I know they didn't have Monsters for example. As far as the second part goes I'm in your camp. But I don't really get anxious anyways. But like if you could average out everyone's anxiety levels caffeine would have a net increase. Just not in everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/20 08:44 PM
3

I can't find any specific data about caffeine consumption because it all goes back to coffee. I can't get a raw milligrams number. While younguns don't consume as much coffee compared to older gens at the same age, alternative methods like sodas (which, although they have less caffeine, you drink all day), have skyrocketed. Energy drinks are also frequently consumed with college young people and they weren't introduced until 1997. Coffee also has more caffeine in it now than it did then, with th…

Of course some people won't be affected at all, but when you hear the average baseline person is more anxious, it could be because of caffeine. It does have an effect of the majority of the population. Increase in heart rate, and the body has to interpret that signal as something.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/20 07:55 PM

Instead of everybody on the internet using whatever narrative to explain the increase in generational anxiety, it's more than likely just an increase in caffeine use.

Women overestimate the variability of what other women can be attracted to. They'll see a guy who they know is objectively hot and think he's unattractive, so they assume that they can see a guy who's actually ugly and think that there's some women that will find him attractive. Men under estimate the variability of what women can be attracted to. They know that they look for the hottest woman, and they project that on to women seeking men. I do feel like men friendships allow men to autistically sperg about man things with eachother in a way that women can't. But usually phrases like "quality of these relationships" have female centric presumptions. In Fight Club, Marla wasn't attracted solely to the Tyler Durden persona but the hot/coldness of The Narrator's beta traits and Tyler's alpha traits. A lot of people think poor women go straight for the aloof asshole but the guy usually lovebombs or has possessive love behind closed doors. Pure aloofness looks like checking out and will eventually lead to breaking plates.

Branding. People want to be ECs and shit. I had an English class where bitches unironically loved Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights because the past made him "troubled." Women say they want it because they want to novelize their life. Listen to how the women who say this is clear. The problem is the ones who say this aren't smart enough to find storybook shit in the small details, and don't realize the big shit makes it too obvious. Explicit meta feelings make you like 50 percent beta automatically, while hidden coded feelings that she reads into makes you like 20 percent beta because it's just her theory. In her head, she could be wrong.

About 3 months ago I saw a man who looked troubled. I talked to him a little bit, and he said he was depressed. Money problems. Suicidal ideation. Going to kill himself. I recently had a financial windfall so I figured I'd help him out. Gave him a couple k. Today he calls me and thanks me. Says his life was turned around. He invested that money into a startup, and thanks to my initial investment, he can now afford the most expensive noose on the market.

To correct myself, the red pill does not say physical attraction matters the most. If it matters the most, and it's a limiting factor, then that means it's essentially "the only thing that matters."
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 04:24 PM

My disagreement comes from the line when you say the red pill says physical attraction is the only thing that matters. Of course, Beta Buxxing implies you don't even have to have stronger frame to get a relationship. Just a good job. Frame is the limiting factor in getting an optimal relationship, but not a limiting factor in getting a relationship at all.

if any of these things are insufficient, the whole thing will not work There is no threshold for sufficiency in the same way with the plants. Damaged is a shame word. FDS and TRP seek relationship dynamics that are outside of the norm, and there is a market for willing participants in each SMP. Getting burnt in the past is no requirement, you can just think that it would be fun to have X dynamic.

Women use sex as the gateway for LTRs. It has a fail/success rate. If the pussys good enough, her conversion rate might be 50 pct. So if she fucks 2 men there's a 75 pct chance she'll be in a relationship. If she's ugly she has to fuck more men for it to work. If her conversion rate is 40 pct and she fucks two men there's a 64 pct chance she'll be in a relationship. Gateway theory doesn't explain all sexual encounters, but it does explain why uglier women have higher n.

What we do know is an economist used the Gini coefficient to analyze the amount of sexual attention people get on Tinder. Separated by genders as they are two different "economies." For women, the Gini coefficient was .324. For a economic context, that resembles roughly the income inequality levels of the UK. The Pareto Principle states that 20 percent of men are responsible for 80 percent of the casual sex being had. It's mostly the soft harem situation you've mentioned. The solution to the Pareto Principle, to "fix" the SMP, is for women to realize they while they might be able to have sex with a top 20 male, they might not be able to LTR him. Which admittedly isn't even the case. Good enough sex and girl game and anywhere from top 50 and up can bag a top 20 male.

I've become addicted to instrumental surf music. I don't surf. I know no one with any interest in surf music. It's a cheesy novelty genre. Yet here I am, on my seventh hour with surf music playing in the background, no other music compares. I am Jack's affinity for cheesy guitar riffs.

Yes. But I don't care about other guys, she could be lying, there's so many variables. I care about what I know for certain, ceteris paribus, which is what she has done with ME.

No. I would assume she wasn't sexually attracted to me. And she wasn't sexually attracted to her previous boyfriends. With girls like these she's not going to be happy until she finds one she wants to break the rules for.

That's not true man. Women used to not know I exist and hated me. I started working really hard on empathizing with women And understanding their feelings, and now they know I exist!

I found pickup at 13. I don't know how I would have done in the SMP because I didn't have any time in the SMP without it. I feel like back in the day all the night game stuff made it more successful because it was more accessible. Now all this new wave stuff I day game. Which is significantly harder

The plans for most of these guys is to make around 28-30k while their wife makes minimum wage. There's barely anything to divorce for. My little town has a small population and the median income is below the federal poverty line.

I was talking about this with a guy on the Discord the other day. We determined that the intent of the og post was closer along the lines of "sexual selection isn't moral." If someone wants to handicap themselves they can go ahead.

The dating model for young men near my house: Find girl struggling to pay for a house, have more money than her, run minimal game, combine all your finance stuff. Eventually propose They can treat the women however they want because by the time the finances are combined branch swinging is ridiculously inconvenient. Plus the girls are usually from broken homes so they tolerate a lot of abuse.

That's what I'm saying. That would have been a satisfying "why" thousands of years ago. Since we've developed to the point where that isn't hard we no longer derive satisfaction from it. Tiger got to hunt, Bird got to fly, Man got to sit and wonder why why why Tiger got to sleep Bird got to land Man got to tell himself he understands

/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/20 04:32 PM

I think anyone who says the human end goal is "survive and replicate" is not only robbing themselves of doing great things but they're also being really circular about it. If you were homeless but had a kid and lived the normal life span, but did nothing else noteworthy, is that "satisfying?" We're all accidents but that doesn't mean we can't give our lives purpose.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/20 03:56 PM
5

We're here by accident. Survive and replicate isn't the "why" but it can't be the final answer people just say that to satisfy themselves. Sex is a drive just like hunger or having to pee What's more satisfying is that there is no purpose whatsoever so that means you literally get to make it up. Grow a beard and start a cult. Dedicate your life to month long acid trips. Work a desk job till 65 and die.

I'm red but if you go on there nowadays half of the threads are just generic self help. All the groundbreaking material has already been made. In other words nobody does anything new over there so there's no utility in being there. Over here at least people try to think up new shit

If we assume that women obtain more status from having a higher status man, and that for men their status doesn't change with their partner's status, then women are necessarily more hypergamous than men, and it is not just a "everyone wants the best they can get" type deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/20 10:15 PM
2

By playing an active role you have the potential for higher variability. Women have a limited range but generally a higher baseline, where men have higher potential but a much lower floor. Men are more able to impose their will on women in the current dating market as well which I think has a very Nietzchean beauty to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 07:23 PM

In my opinion it's female projection, typically they see men they're attracted to as non interchangeable where men tend to see their women as interchangeable. Abundance men I mean.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 07:09 PM
5

The idea being that the reason doesn't matter because the man will ultimately stay with the woman after committing. I do think it leads to scarcity mentality men only commiting which is a disaster for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 06:39 PM

True abundance is almost impossible to reach with the wrong hardware. Unfortunately it's not a rational choice to fall for someone, but things like FDS try to turn the dynamic on its head, where the man cherishes sex enough to actually commit to get there. This is a recipe for finding a low value man with scarcity mentality. While she might find a man she's sexually attracted to that has scarcity mentality, purely statistically speaking it's going to be a rare occasion.

I think that in recent times men have developed a need to have the same passivity as women with regards to relationships. Something is taking away men's agency. There's a lot of boogeymen to choose from here, but I think that pornography is very gynocentric in the sense that it associates being a woman with pleasure, and the women don't necessarily any active role in their having sex in the video. While it's always been assumed women have it on easy mode, we're seeing a rise in men wanting to be…

Rational men wouldn't, but 25 percent of women surveyed said they have been able to turn a ONS into a LTR, and 50 percent said they have been able to turn a plate situation into a LTR. Despite being able to get sex for free they typically will cave in due to oxytocin or having some type of connection.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 06:11 PM
27

Women have casual sex as an attempt to rope in a man they could not have had an LTR with otherwise. Your third point is usually a result of women failing to gain the LTR from having casual sex. It's a high risk strategy that will necessarily come with pump and dumps, but many women will tell you their current LTR, who was a product of casual sex, was worth all the temporary heartache. Furthermore, on a macro level, the less women that are willing to have casual sex, the more negotiating power ca…

Women can find dates without Tinder, they tend to be thrown into a social life whereas men have to make their own. Women who desire casual sex can easily get this sex through that social life. Women are less horny than the average man anyways so are less likely to have to make a Tinder to get that need met.

With the rise of the narrative that women's new sexuality has lead to a decline in Western civilization that starts from corrupt morals, the men who hear about this don't want to necessarily directly contribute to it. It's a neoreaction towards a nuclear family that makes it easy for men to place the blame on someone for their own problems. They might not know it in those words, but wanting a Christian girl without one having Christian values themselves is a very new thing that comes from this

If you read the book after the game where he goes to sex therapy he starts talking about how PUA lead him to misogyny and that he needed deeper connections with the women in his life. I'm not sure where he stands on the issue now but after publishing that book at least he seemed to have some regrets about his time in PUA, although I think if he had a do over he wouldn't take it
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/20 04:12 AM

Well the Red Pill has a system for finding LTRs that naturally gravitate towards traditional feminine gender roles, which according to them, will make the man the happiest, and I tend to agree. It doesn't make them entirely interchangeable but it admittedly focuses more on adherence to traditional female roles as opposed to some type of unique personality. They say ONE TYPE of personality is the best for LTRs as opposed to the Blue Pill stance that it depends on the relationship. Red Pill assume…

This is a microcosm of a bigger problem of PUA, a lot of guys in the community place their self worth on external validation which is hyped up by a guru complex that Neil talks about in The Game. Unfortunately they've spent a careers worth of time getting laid and suddenly it's not enough to validate them anymore. Which is devastating because the PUA industry preys on men who don't have a strong sense of internal values, which happen to also be the men having the most trouble with women. So when…

Well naturally people who find these communities come from a position low in the hierarchy, and only a few can rise to the top, so the vast majority of what you're going to see is losers with no sense of agency. In the black pill one rises in their hierarchy by having the least will to power. Most red pill advice on the internet isn't going to be very good but I'm a firm believer in their sidebar. If you were completely lost about the facts you have to look at it from the perspective of which delusion is the healthiest. The Black Pill is inherently out of the discussion because it assumes no one has any control over their dating life. I haven't seen a black piller who can accept this reality and be happy, because it assumes that one is low on the hieararchy and has no upwards mobility. So it comes down to the blue and the red. The Blue Pill is a perfectly healthy delusion to hold for your…

And that's typically why The Golden Rule morality hurts most timids, it's because the majority of desirable women are serial monogamists so you have to catch them on a branch swing. And your timids don't do that because "I wouldn't want it to be done to me." With the work situation specifically for every creep story there is also a meet cute but you have to question if you have such a scarcity mentality why you're dipping in the company ink. So I agree with the not making a move on them. However…

I think morality is a handicap in those cases when it comes directly with regards to gaming the women and power. Most men are wired to know what to do but they handicap themselves through either internal held beliefs like religion or whatever, or creep shaming.

Not many young women, there's a certain nihilism in dating now where the man who provides the desired lifestyle is who women take long term, as opposed to a man that fits some type of traditional Christian meaning. Naturally the men that provide the most desirable lifestyles are the ones who have adopted more selfish mentalities; in late stage capitalism morality is a handicap. This isn't a bad thing, it just means we have to create our own meaning because it isn't given to us anymore. But the t…
