I've been using the difference in asking Google "Why is my WIFE/HUSBAND shouting at me?" as an example of gender bias for years. Husband result:- Sometimes, yelling becomes a communication style that's learned or reinforced over time. If your husband grew up in an environment where yelling was the norm, he might default to it without realizing how damaging it feels. Breaking that cycle takes self-awareness, effort, and a commitment to change, but it is possible Wife result:- When a wife yells, i…

One fact we are sure of is that most infanticide (baby killing) is done by women not men. Mention this in a gender argument and see how hard they try to defend those women and make excuses for them they would never apply to a man.

LOL! And so much easier to just click the down vote than actually support your argument with sources and logic.

You all ignore the science though, even if you are willing to live on the most basic of foods it still takes a minimum of an acre of farming land to feed one human it's not about how much physical space a human takes up. As Rhode Island is about 777,000 acres you could keep a maximum of 770 thousand people alive assuming you could convert 100% of the land into farm. That means with the current world population of 8.3 billion you could support a maximum of 0.000092% of them in Rhode Island....

We have more humans already than the Earth can sustainably support, I don't think "go forth and multiply" should be our moral imperative any more. There is a lot more to being a man than just being a father, honour and duty can be satisfied many ways. If you have brothers/sisters then you can fulfil any responsibility to your genes by making sure their children are cared for and survive to reproduce, you don't need to have your own. I say don't worry about it, there are lots of women on the dati…

I've been cheated on three times and gaslit to hell about it, even so I kept on dating trying to find a good one until I decided I was too old to be a father so there was no reason to keep searching for a wife. Just because I made mistakes in choosing those women doesn't mean that all women on Earth are the same, it's weird and childish when women make those kind of sweeping judgements against all men. I think the main difference is the echo chamber, whatever they say about the supposed "manosph…

I saw a graph recently of how women react to male sexual interest as they age. The younger women had a strong dislike but as the age of the woman increased it changed at about 38-40 to a positive reaction and only got more positive as she aged. It's amazing how people don't value something they have lots of until it goes away.

I'd say on average a man will get more spite from women who have been trying to find a serious partner for a few years and are frustrated with how hard it is and blaming men in general, for most women these days I think that is late thirties.

LOL, if I change just one word (women becomes men) then your list of negative messages is what women are being told every day in those feminist subs: The message became: “You are oppressed.” “You are a victim.” “Women Men ruined society.” “Nothing is your fault.” “Your bitterness is rational.” And I agree "some of these communities genuinely underestimate the damage they can do to vulnerable people". Lots of women just looking for support and being told it's all men's fault. I was raised to beli…

It sounds like you don't value the companionship of a wife or the fulfilment of raising children, that's fine we are all different. For myself when I got old I wanted to have someone next to me who I could reminisce with about past joys, a companion so I wouldn't be alone. I wanted to raise strong well mannered children and teach them how to thrive in this world then play with their children before I died. I agree with you it's a huge risk but if you find a good one then it's worth it. The probl…

Depends on how much you want to know and on the privacy laws in your country - whether or not they need to be circumspect. Deep enough to find evidence of something like well hidden like prostitution would cost you thousands. Just finding out legal name changes, debt, previous divorce or criminality etc would be a lot cheaper probably hundreds. This isn't something to bother doing with a girlfriend, this is to do before you propose to make sure you aren't ruining your life and maybe your kids li…

I spent two whole decades trying to find a woman that I though was good enough to be a wife and mother. All I got was cheated on THREE TIMES and a fuckload of heartache. My male friends didn't do much better, two divorces (so far) and one that knows his daughter is not his daughter but hasn't done anything about it for her sake. Can you imagine how that feels? Maybe things will get better in the future but right now it's a bad time to be a man and an especially bad time to be a romantic caring m…

I'm MGTOW, yes mentioning that acronym instantly triggers feminists into attack. It's weird right? The female equivalent of MGTOW is the 4B movement and I think most men wouldn't care if a woman said she believed in that stuff we would just nod and move along. Woman wants to have a life without men that's fine with us right? Live and let live. Oh no, they interpret wanting a life without the hassle of women and marriage like it's an attack on the existence of women. I think it's because we don't…

If you're not familiar with the story being discussed then you should research before you comment. While it is true "A man or woman exposing themselves in public is a form of SA" she recorded him IN HIS OWN HOME where there is an expectation of privacy. The short version is she was told to leave the food on the doorstep but found the door ajar, she pushed it fully open where she could see into a room where the man was sitting asleep with his trousers around his ankles. She recorded him and then …

Yes that case has a lot of us watching eagerly, wheels of justice turn slowly though. I think the problem is she was one of those women that think they are always the victim and can never be the perpetrator. The closest examples I can think of are a person born into wealth or a cop, they always think they are better than normal people and if they are doing it then it's not wrong. The only way for that mindset to interpret a man ordering food then falling asleep drunk on his couch with his pants …

Yes, unless you have a good reason to be there just stay away from "women dominated spaces", you are more likely to get false reporting when the whole group sees you as an intruder and will back up each others lies "distortions of the truth due to emotion and entitlement". The only positive story I have being in one of those spaces was a cooking class I took for a couple of months that turned out to be all women apart from me, they were a bit suspicious at the start but relaxed when it was clear…

It was that double standard that made me decide to advocate for men's rights, it was obvious the women have more than enough support in these times and the men are suffering. It's annoying that almost every woman (and definitely every feminist) I talk to on Reddit thinks because I care about the rights of the male half of the population I must hate the female half. I was taught to believe in equality, not that we should be their slaves while we treat them like royalty.

Because it's an easy way to make the women and girls look better in comparison, much easier than writing great female characters that outshine the men. Same reason that She Hulk disrespected Hulk in that terrible marvel show recently. The writers thought the best way to make her look good was to cut the balls off Hulk, make it seem as though struggling with the Hulk rage was nothing for a woman that was used to being cat called. I mean it's not like the Hulk has tried to kill himself from despai…

I am owed respect, all decent human beings are irregardless of gender. I've dug strangers out of the snow before but I'll be damned if I'm going to do that for someone who thinks my whole gender is toxic and makes stupid statements like "I'd choose the bear because all men are rapists". Before I came to Reddit I thought similarly to yourself, that it was only a tiny percentage of women that had the extreme misandrist attitude about men. Then I found that there were so many subs about hating men, subs where women say things that would get a man banned if said about women. "answering bad with the good is better" Not in an abusive relationship where the other person thinks you are not even human just a thing to be hated and abused. In situations like that taking the abuse and returning kindness never makes it better. The only way for people like that to change their minds it for reality to hit them hard.

I wish we had an app where you could just ask her name and it would scan for all social media posts and find anything about "choosing the bear" or "we don't need men" etc. Maybe give a misandry rating out of 10. If that rating is low then yes I'll freely give that stranger my time and labour to help her out of danger like a good man should. I'm the kind of guy that stops and helps, done it many times. No, places like Reddit are just where the misandrists feel welcome and protected enough to let out the hate they have for us. In RL people tend to be more careful, even the ones that think we should all be castrated at birth or forced to grow up in a prison for the crime of being male won't usually say so publicly. The toxic feminist/misandrist subs are so much worse than this place, sometimes those mods pretend they care about respect but the things they allow women to say about us would never be allowed here with a gender reversal. Even so being a member of one of those misandrist subs doesn't get you auto-banned from lots of others like commenting here does. Mostly yes. I don't think the high bodycount single guys are lonely though, that only comes later in life after the fun of ONS has faded some and they want more of a connection. I definitely agree that when women think of "men" they only think of the 20% of men that they find attractive, that they notice in life. I almost did this for an ex GF who was Bi, we parted as friends due to long distance not working out. I've had women call me ugly, it didn't make me get cosmetic surgery. I've had women call me fat, it didn't make me get surgery or go on a crazy diet. Women care more about how they are perceived than men, they do this stuff to themselves. Young me would have sacrificed my life to save a random woman without question. Current me wants to see her social media history for evidence of misandry before I'll even hold the door open. Do you also believe a man has the right to insist on a woman carrying his baby to term even if they agreed it was Just a casual FWB relationship in advance? Before the pregnancy they both agreed they did not want children. After finding out that she is pregnant the woman has changed her mind and the man has not. That is not an equal responsibly situation, only one party changed their mind and forced the situation onto the other without their consent. The brain chemistry that decides to have casual non reproductive sex is not the same brain chemistry that decides to keep it and become a mother. No matter what they say before the pregnancy it doesn't matter to them or the law. You can have a damn signed witnessed legal contract and it still won't protect you from her changing her mind. I don't agree. I was raised to believe in the real feminism by my mother, it was about equality of opportunity. She was one of the first women in commercial computing and out earned my father for most of my life. This modern version of feminism is basically just "women can do no wrong" and "every problem a woman has can be fixed by a man trying harder", it is the opposite of equality and mutual respect I was taught to believe. I'm 6'6" and not bad looking, wealthy and according to female friends "a good catch, just not for me". I spent 20 years trying to date to find a wife and all I got was cheated on three times. You are right, it is a lot more common than people admit. One of them confessed but the other two were caught. All three tried to gaslight me about it and said I was insecure for not trying to "fix it". I just don't get it. I don't cheat, I'm kind and generous, work hard etc. I was willing to support my wif…

List ten good things about Russia and I'll point out 9 of them are Russian propaganda. It's a terrible place to live and has been since they opened up in the 1990's, they never want to make their own lives better they just export war and fear to other peaceful countries like Ukraine. Almost everyone there is a bitter depressed alcoholic with major health issues, just look at the international comparison tables for lifespan, health, happiness, freedom. "informed consent" means the other partner is informed. And she lies to them about being on birth control. Isn't that sexual violence now? It's no better than "stealthing." Completely agree but once she's got your seed it doesn't matter. The courts will force you to pay even if you were tricked. This is why I always use condoms and dispose of them myself to be safe.

So much for me thinking you treated men and women equally! "Women are victims and men are monsters" This attitude of ignoring evidence and assuming men are always the perpetrator results in miscarriages of justice and innocent people suffering. I made it clear what I think with the Iceland example but I'll rewrite it in clearer language if you need me to. I would like to be appreciated for my hard work not looked down upon because women think they are better than men. I am justifying this by the example that If all the men disappeared civilisation would go with it, you would have no chance without us. If all the women disappeared we could just about hold things together without you because we do most of the critical jobs anyway. The st…

I wish we could all do what they think they want us to do, disappear. Maybe some of them deep down realise how much they need us but most honestly think they can run the world better. I think a week of women realising how much of the world runs on man sweat might get us some deserved appreciation. Think of it guys, for 1 week they could: Clean their own sewers, build their own houses, drive the delivery vans and lorries that keep the economy moving. Work in the factories for a 12 hour back break…

They just got me, I commented on a cool octopus thing that reminded me of a magic mushroom trip. Yeah the ego on those fuckers really pissed me off.

No. All this talk of equality was a smokescreen, they never thought we were their equals. A man is just a tool to do the dirty or hard jobs not a person with hopes, dreams and real feelings. They are women, they believe we are here to die for them if needed but it will never go the other way. Just research how many times women stayed with men that had a life changing accident and how many times they walked away for their own good. Now look at the stats for the men, we almost always stay and do o…

Oh wow reading that was like being with a therapist that sees right through you and reads your thoughts. That's exactly how I feel after trusting a couple of women enough to open up. Never again. Never open up to a romantic interest, you can only ever risk this with a female friend or relative and even then it's not a good idea to allow yourself to completely breakdown like they do. I think the only time you can really do this is when you're paying a (male) therapist. I don't know what it is ins…

Oh man I feel for you. If anyone ever says we live in a patriarchy this is one of the examples I use to show them we surely do not. Every single guy I told about what happened to me, replied that they had some issue with a girl in the past Yep we have all suffered. I had a SA accusation at university 25 years ago from a girl that came home with me from the bar then fell asleep on my couch then woke up 30min later all startled asking what I/we had done. We hadn't even kissed before she fell aslee…

LOL, good luck trying to sue a woman that destroyed your life with false accusations they almost always get away with it.

The double standard that the man is supposed to provide for his woman no matter the cost to himself but that she can up and find someone new as soon as she thinks you're failing is a terrible thing. I've read the rationalisations of these decisions and they make you want to cry, women just do not think we deserve the same as them. At least you've learnt how they tend to be before marrying one, I was 10 years older than you when I realised I was never going to find a woman I could trust completel…

r/itsthatbad has some angry men but generally you'll be accepted there even if you don't agree with the passport bro movement. It's politics, women can do no wrong therefore men can do no right these days. Talking about our problems is wasted time we could be talking about their problems and they don't like it.

I hear you, I made the same decision a few years ago but it's different for me because I'm really big and I'm used to getting in peoples way. I just decided if I'm not going to be respected any more, if I have to prove that I'm not as dangerous as the bear then I don't have to give them basic respect either. Now I just expect the smaller person to move out of the way and that's always them.

You don't think if she knew how to treat a man well she would have a man already? She's 49! You don't think that if she wanted to share her life with a man she would have found one when she was young and attractive and could still have children with that man? Even if she's divorced that doesn't paint her in a better light. I know women like this they hit on me all the time. They live life without a care in the world and then wait by the finish line for a man who has worked hard to pick them up a…

First post in this sub, I feel like you guys understand how things are in dating these days and this post confirms it. As men we're supposed to have our shit together, face what life throws at us and make good choices. Only idiots don't plan for their retirement or think about earning when they're older. Can any of you imagine the advice if this had been a broke 49 year old man? Those feminists would be saying he should go and die somewhere as he was clearly no good for anything and he nothing t…
