3	How do you respond to "men will only listen to other men"? “Then why are you trying to convince me?” is what I would have said before I transitioned. It forces them to either admit that they don’t actually believe that because they’re engaging with you, or do some mental gymnastics to justify it and claim you’re not listening. 28	The phase "feminism is for men too" can't coexist with the oppressed vs oppressor dichotomy. Because it's a major contradiction. Trans and non-binary people present a big issue for a lot of classical feminist theory, because that theory wasn’t built with any sort of flexibility in mind. It just described how things were, without regard for the future. Now the modern feminist movement is shackled to a bunch of dead weight, because a large portion of their academia is made invalid by the existence of people like me. Personally I’d consider turning to far-left communities, as weird as that seems. The moderate left (such as American Democrats) are shit because they have no desire to get anything done, and the few that actually care have to fight to get their voices heard (AOC, Bernie Sanders, etc.).
