I've been a more liberal/soft/feminist man in the past. I have had a lot of women. What woke me up was this: Even the best women, the most intelligent, successful, balanced, understanding ones, would begin to exhibit contempt and pull away if I showed weakness for more than a day or two. Conversely, masculine confidence, stoicism, strength and deviltry gets every type of woman wet in the knickers, even as she is complaining about it. Sex roles are real and they win.
