Can you elaborate on the last bit? By line you mean that's the limit to as far as you'll go during the date? Flirting your way back, do you mean you start all over again from innocent touches back to wherever that line was?

Hmm, that's not a great joke imo. Unless she's into that kind of stuff, she'd just be confused. But what makes a joke work is also how you deliver it, you could've exaggerated and stared at her like she's crazy and say "What? Why wouldn't I? You don't want to live long enough where you could stick your brains in a robotic vessel?" But again there's no obligation to make jokes, if it's not working for you, then you can just stop. It's not necessary to get a girl attracted to you.

That's a tough one, and I don't know the exact solution. But for starters, avoid being edgy and make any dark jokes, not many people finds those jokes funny, At best, they'd just be neutral to it. Avoid any racism/sexism, or any personal attacks. That should keep you covered for the most part. Personally, most of my jokes are just teasing women, for example, if she expresses interest in something I don't like, I'd exaggerate and say "We can't be friend!", with a serious expression then transitio…
