A better way to approach disagreeing with my statement would be by pointing out the simple fact that fire is occasionally fought by using fire in a controlled way to burn up fuel for the uncontrolled fire before it reaches that point. Also, you're the one who said fighting fire with fire was the way to go, don't blame the cliche on me. MAD is a totally different thing, doesn't really apply here, and is another cliche.

I would like to reiterate that the way out of perceived inequality is to do something about it, either at the individual level or broader, but either way self-defined success is an accomplishable goal for just about anyone.
