0	16 year old boy has consensual sex with his 15 year old sister, gets registered as a sex offender for life. Now, a potential 2nd round pick, no NFL team will even look at him. The incest taboo is actually pretty constant throughout most human populations. I think what you are referring to is that different cultures define incest differently, normally in regards to whether it is okay to marry a cousin (etc) depending on whether they are related through the mother's or father's side of the family tree. I can't ever think of a time when openly marrying one's own sister (immediate family) would be considered appropriate in society.
