I'll answer the title. Nope. It's kind of like building callouses when you're learning to play guitar, or learning how to get better at falling when learning to skate.

I'll get downvoted to shit but you're a computer science guy, who is very successful, you like in NYC. But you've hopped on here to ask where to start since you have no social life. Surely you're smart enough to know that you'll need to go to social environments to improve this no? Like you're literally in NYC, there has to be something. - If you're into music, find gigs of artists you're interested in and go to those, super easy way to meet likeminded people. - Going to bars and not drinking al…

"wish I could be more than just that to someone." Do you believe that you are? If so, you need to start behaving that way on a daily basis, I don't mean being selfish/arrogant etc but rather not seeking the approval from women you're possibly into. This is easier said than done, or maybe it is easy to do. I feel like once you carry yourself in this way, the heavy lifting is already done, because now you're not trying to persuade someone into a date, they end up already waiting for you to ask the…

I guess just pretend you're talking to someone you're used to talking to if that makes sense. Authenticity is important because that's where your humour and interests and hers ofc can shine through. Especially if you're working on text game.

From my understanding of music a bar is 1 2 3 4, when you dance recognise that the beat you're dancing to is on the 1, and keep it as such. You could also do it on the 4. "It’s less about counting and more about feeling that natural thump that pulls your body forward. Once you feel it, everything else falls into place.

First date - Day time, relaxed vibe. No direct reference to sex but imply it by how you look at her (Not in a creepy way but in a longing way) Second date - Evening time, low lights, a drink or two. Now you can ask some spicy questions, I'd suggest not putting her on the spot though but by this time you probably already know what's okay to ask her or discuss and what she's not ready for.

- Be direct. - You can have after care without her sleeping over (The sleeping over part is the kicker imo) - Frequency (If you want casual don't spend time with her multiple times in the week, unless you're trying to build a deeper connection).

Being honest isn't a bad thing, but early on I'd recommend only giving this type of information when asked. Also may I ask what you do with your free time, since you're unemployed and also dropped out of college?

Joint is not a bad shout, pack a pre-roll go for a walk, go to the park go for a drink. Save the Joint for wind down time, maybe before the restaurant or after it, if you choose after you better be prepared for a snack run. Cozy up together at your place low lights, a little movie or some tunes. As long as you show that you have a little bit more personality outside of smoking weed you should be fine.

There's no real "bypass" to this, you just need to pursue the appropriate women for what you're currently looking for. "She was also out of a very long relationship, with kids and mess, and since then only dated 2 men with unsatisfactory results" Reading this alone, it would make sense that she'd prefer to go a bit slower considering she's been through a lot, if you don't want to wait or commit to it then you should look elsewhere.

If I meet a girl at a club/bar and we're chatting away. Sometimes I might throw in "Where's your boyfriend?" Based on her reply you can just play off that pretty well.

She probably already could tell you're a bit more introverted already, and she asked for a second date, so that's already a good sign. Even if she is a social butterfly, maybe she might also enjoy taking it easy too. You never know, just keep doing what you're doing, it's clearly working :)

I'm seeing a lot of comments saying it's on the girl to turn these men away, not to entertain etc. But I have a hot take: Maybe it's on you, "As a short guy", yes sure, height could be a factor, but that's not something you have control over. What you can control though is how you maintain the attention and engage with the women you are with. If you aren't engaging her, she'll probably seek engagement elsewhere. I'm not blaming you for these outcomes, however I would like you to look at things f…

"I have been with like 30 woman, but only few that I would say were my type." If OP is still willingly having sex with people he's not inherently attracted to, the sex he's after could be coming from an unhealthy place. I can only speak from a club context since I don’t really cold approach groups during the day, haha. If you see a woman you’re interested in and she’s with her friends, try to muster up the courage to start a casual chat, it’s super low stakes. You can ask about their drink choices, where they’ve already been that night, or where they plan to go next. Don’t ask for her number or Instagram unless you’re sure she’s into you. If you’re unsure, you’ve got two options: Risk it for a biscuit: Go ahead…

If you want to find a healthy relationship where you feel comfortable, reassured and validated. You don't need to try to be anyone else except yourself. Don't just feel comfortable in your skin because that's what you're meant to do, sit down and think about the qualities you love about yourself, maybe they are things your ex may have pointed out to you. These are the qualities you have in your arsenal as well as everything else, lean into them. :)

“Indirect/direct/situational openers” these can be applied to many more things than just picking up women, if a method is kept vague enough it can be applied to virtually anything. Do you believe the male mode of thinking has changed or is it the same as the 60s for example?
/r/seduction23/05/25 09:58 AM

Human Psychology is always changing though, if psychology is the study of the mind and our behaviors, then surely the more we learn about ourselves the more it can change and probably should change. There are numerous scientific studies that have since been scrapped after been proven to no longer be applicable or correct. Sometimes you just have to do it for the love of "The Game" (Great book btw)

The way we perceive others is often times different to how they perceive themselves, and vice versa. Once you refrain from seeing women as this unattainable entity, and just see them as what they are - human, the conversations flow more naturally.

Find what clothes work for your body type, basic colour theory is also helpful. If there is an artist or actor whose style you admire you could try experimenting with some pieces. At the end of the day, it's a gradual process which only gets better with time as you grow to know yourself more.

I won't lie boss, this ain't looking good for you. She has a boyfriend and you're still trying to come up with a plan? I think when you constantly think "What do I say to make her more attracted to me" you're doing something very wrong, you should really be able to assess how to approach a particular girl. On top of that the way you would say some things is key, especially when negging. And finally eye contact is key, you can flirt without even having to say anything. This also usually helps to tell if she will be receptive to your "game"
