I do understand that, given the name of this subreddit, and I know I am not going to convince you, that's why I am only stating my opinion in here through our small debate. I also feel happy that we are able to keep the level of this conversation high, instead of just arguing like some people do :)

By saying that "it doesn't work like that" I mean that it shouldn't be like that. It doesn't make any sense for a country that forbids abortion to make the woman take solo responsibility for a child that is not only hers.

Here we disagree again, the woman doesn't put the responsibility on herself by not choosing an abortion, it doesn't work like that. The responsibility is shared by them both, since none of them had sex on its own

You think that throwing all the responsibilities of raising the child to the woman (who could also not want the kid) is fair? If you're not part of the your child's life, you should at least provide financial support
