No, you understood me correctly originally, I was talking about his ex wife.

I don't think OP is as bitter as you are about his ex wife.

That's actually the key of the autonomy argument. Normally in society (of individual rights and personal responsibility) we hold your right to bodily autonomy outweighs the right of another to live. For example I'm not required to donate organs to save another, nor risk life and limb to rescue someone (even the police aren't, although maybe this is a tangent). So with abortion the argument is refusing to provide host, and give your body in service to another person (person or not, "alive"or not)…

Ah a classical not having personal responsibility of the inside of your own body kinda guy? Or is it more responsibility for whatever goes inside your body, but no rights to make decisions? Just giving yourself a label doesn't make you right. Personal responsibility is a good philosophy though. I know my rhetoric won't land, because it's silly to use the idea of personal responsibility in this context and is basically irrelevant to the debate. But yeah, we are better off if we take responsibilit…

I imagine you can understand why such people don't last long here. It's turned into a women hate subreddit and definitely not a place for balanced viewpoints. I mean this post seems to me someone "burning" a troll, kinda like atetheonion, it's such low hanging fruit if not pure trolling. This sub used to have women who tried to beat men find that their pussy pass doesn't work anymore, not this circlejerk "durr I miss the days of being a real man". (None of this comment is attacking you).

Maybe it's abortion to not get pregnant and waste an egg. Or those sperm that didn't get a chance to try to be life when you masturbated (or didn't have sex). It's arbitrary. Some of those arbitrary lines have a significant effect on the body of a woman. Cutting the foreskin of a baby or not just not have any effect on the body of a woman, nor the future responsibility of a woman (caused by her actions or not). They are not analogous in any valuable way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
