Telling someone with social anxiety or avoidant personality disorder to just make more friends is like telling a depressed person to just stop being so sad.

https://youtu.be/9nmJ0ssGycc I like one of the points this video makes at the end. Sex is a way to bond with your partner. If you have a high N count, sex is less likely to be something special to you and you're going to have more trouble bonding with your partner. I can't imagine dating a girl who didn't think sex was special anymore. Sounds like a nightmare.

I read the book just recently. I absolutely loved it, easy 10/10. It's way more fucked up than the movie as well.

Upon graduating middle school, Rentarou Aijou manages to confess to the girl he loves. Unfortunately, he gets rejected, making it his 100th rejection in a row. Having experienced heartbreak after heartbreak, he goes to a matchmaking shrine and prays with the hope of finally getting a girlfriend in high school. Suddenly, the god of the shrine appears, promising Rentarou that he will meet one hundred soulmates in high school. I love anime

I always laugh whenever this kind of thing comes up on reddit and anyone who replies saying they wouldn't step in to help a woman gets dogpiled. All it takes is one punch, you hit your head on the pavement and it's lights out forever. Women always tell us we're not entitled to their bodies, but when a man says he wouldn't wouldn't put his body on the line for a random stranger suddenly he's an evil piece of shit.

Well in my country of 26 million we are in the middle of an unprecedented housing crisis and we are still bringing in 200,000 new people every year. There is a 3 bedroom house down the road from me with 6 adult migrants living in it. It's kind of fucked. It's not fair on citizens and it's not fair on the migrants who come here either.

Yeah, it's not a habit I want to pick up because cigarettes are exorbitantly expensive in Australia (and the health effects too I suppose). I just found it weird that this urge seemed to appear out of nowhere.

I have a trip overseas coming up and I have this strange urge to start smoking just while I'm away on that trip, then quitting once I get home. I have no idea where this urge came from, I'm 35 and I've smoked like 2 cigarettes in my life and didn't care for them.

In most western countries we have a social safety net where we take resources from people who have too much, and redistribute their resources to those who are struggling. We as a society realise that it's not good to have an underclass who are kept downtrodden for their entire lives. Some people need help and unregulated free markets are never a good thing. We should apply the same concept to the dating market.

I don't disagree, which is why I don't pursue casual sexual relationships with women. There are actually some guys who are willing to wait, 6, 12 months for marriage, some are even willing to wait until marriage. Personally I think it's gross to have sex on the 2nd or 3rd date, I'd need to be dating a girl for at least a few months before I felt comfortable with that.

Saw this video a couple of months ago but it keeps popping into my head every now and then. Guy was struggling with his mental health, calls the mental health line, and they treat him like fucking shit. Sends him off the deep end and he winds up getting shot by the cops. Then people have the gall to ask why men don't talk about their feelings.

I don't think men are worried that they are being pressured into dating single mums. I think people are jealous because being a single mum is one of the biggest handicaps a woman can have when it comes to dating, yet they still get a bunch of attention on dating apps. Meanwhile men can work on self improvement for years and will still be invisible.

Damn, what a based comment. I keep saying women are going to wake up one day and wish they could go back to a time when the worst thing they had to worry about was a guy asking them out for coffee. That day is going to be way sooner than a lot of people think. Most people have their head in the sands though.

Male mental health awareness is a psyop. No one cares about mens feelings. They want you to be more vulnerable around them so they have ammunition to use against you.

Nah that's just a giant fucking cope. There are lots of men who are in their 30s and 40s who are even further away from being in a relationship than they were at 18. The whole 'it gets easier as you get older' is a total lie. The easiest time to get into a relationship is your high school and university days. If you don't manage it during those years your chances afterwards plummet because you will always be playing catch up due to experience deficits.

I've started planning my Japan trip with my wife. We are going winter next year. I live in Australia so I haven't seen snow since I was a little kid. I've been to Japan solo a few times, but I'm really looking forward to this time since I finally have someone to share it with.

There are more stupid men in general. There are also more men who are super smart. Women are more likely to be average, while men are more likely to end up at one extreme or the other.

Maybe guys don't want to have those conversations and aren't willing to pretend they are? I get women trying to have a conversation with me at work and I'm just not interested at all. I'm trying to work, why are you talking to me about Taylor Swift? I don't care, I'm going to give you one word answers until you lose interest. I stopped engaging in conversations I'm not interested in a long time ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 08:03 AM

I'm already married to my beautiful 2D wife, but if I theoretically wanted anything to do with 3D women, and they wanted anything to do with me, I would definitely rule out anyone who treated sex as something casual to just throw out with no regard. We just wouldn't be compatible. Casual sex is disgusting and I would never date a woman who engaged in casual sex. I think it's gross when men do it as well.

I gave up a while ago and moved on to 2D women. Best decision I've ever made. The repeated rejections took a huge mental toll. Now I have a 2D wife who loves me and I no longer have to deal with my self esteem being freshly trodden down into the dirt every few months. I'm happy and at peace.

Why do so many women go after shit men? I saw a post today from a single mum who was living in poverty and her daughter needed surgery she couldn't afford. When someone asked where the father was she said he was a meth addict who left them and doesn't pay child support. Nope. People always love to say how they would step in to help, then they get knocked over and crack their head on the pavement and die. If you step into that situation you are putting your life on the line. I don't see why I should have to do that for a woman I've never met, who would not even notice I exist if I met her under any other circumstances.

Head over to twoxchromosomes and see how many threads you can count posted by women complaining about something their partner did, and asking the community to justify their decision to stay in the relationship. It just seems to me that men want it easy, they just want a beautiful wife to magically appear in their lives. Capitalism requires growth year on year. If populations start to collapse, so does the current economic system that allowed for women's liberation. For the vast VAST majority of history, women have been oppressed. The belief that it's impossible for society to regress is ignorant. There are plenty of experts in demographics who predict the collapse of western society before the end of this century. When that happens I can guarantee you humans will survive, but it definitely will not be a fun tim…

That being said it will be very interesting to see how countries respond to the falling birthrate crisis. Most western countries are responding by importing millions of new workers from conservative countries to sustain the infinite growth capitalism demands. Some countries are refusing immigration, (Japan, China, South Korea) and seemingly have no real answers to demographic collapse.

And when a man talks about being completely invisible, and going years or even decades without a single morsel of attention or affection, he gets told he should just improve his hygiene and go outside. Most women are unable or unwilling to understand what it's like for men who get no affection no matter how much effort they put in.
