Jesus christ that's one angry response and a lot of assumptions about someone you don't know. I don't even want kids.

Not sure, I'm open to alternative viewpoints as I could just be misinformed.

I dunno, the glaring thing that stood out was that the guy you chose to marry is the exception compared to the others. That's the crack in the China for me, even if it's a subconscious choice on your end.

What's your take on evolutionary psychology of gender roles then? Do you think we've surpassed them in just a few decades?

I only say that because the other 50% I'm probably not compatible with or attracted to. It's probably more than 50% anyway tbh.

It made me horribly insecure and distrustful of women. I lost a girlfriend (previous to the one I mentioned in the post) because I purposely played mind games by refusing to text her first. I negged her because I thought I needed to in order to keep the power balance in my favour. I suspect she secretly found someone else who treated her better and made her more a priority.

Simply look at how she treats you and other people. Does she at least seem like a nice person? Look for kindness. Avoid girls who seem like a handful or not that nice. It's not rocket science, just use your intuition and give everyone a chance until proven guilty. There is always risk of getting hurt, no matter what.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
