1	A Female 'Firefighter' Shows Why You'd Want a Man to Rescue You Perhaps I am late to this thread but my wife is a fire fighter. In Canada however the standards are the exact same. In fact some men have trouble with the entrance physical tests while some women excel. Yes some men can be stronger and more able to pull someone out of a fire (6'5" 240 lbs strong man) but the job these day's is so much more than that. 5 percent of the calls my wife does is an actual fire.
