Why are all mass shootings men?(17m)A little research ive been doing has me thinking its related to whatever phenomenon also results in men being the most likely to commit suicide. The mechanics of suicide and mass shootings seem to follow similar trends. As far back as 2002, a U.S. Secret Service report based on case studies and interviews with surviving shooters identified mental illness – typically either psychosis or SUICIDAL DEPRESSION – as very common among mass homicide perpetrators. https://theconversation.com/mass-shootin… | /r/MensRights | 10/08/19 06:31 PM
Nice moves..There may be some movement away from that judging by the way Trumps new appointee has been saying about this matter. I sure hope this is a glimpse of what may be coming. | /r/MensRights | 14/02/18 10:16 PM
No such thing as innocent until proven guilty: University student, 21, accused of rape is banned from classes for a whole year while he awaits trialIt was over a year with counseling before my friend was able to function well with the anxiety attacks he started getting. | /r/MensRights | 27/09/17 06:01 AM
No such thing as innocent until proven guilty: University student, 21, accused of rape is banned from classes for a whole year while he awaits trialMy friend was never even charged. Not sure how they can do all this without even a charge, and when the claimed event occurred off campus. Man it was awful listening to him talk about what was happening to him. | /r/MensRights | 26/09/17 11:41 PM
No such thing as innocent until proven guilty: University student, 21, accused of rape is banned from classes for a whole year while he awaits trialThey’re often banned from campus with a do not trespass order and need a police escort to even attend their on campus hearing. | /r/MensRights | 26/09/17 04:44 PM
No such thing as innocent until proven guilty: University student, 21, accused of rape is banned from classes for a whole year while he awaits trialFriend had this same thing happen. Suing isn’t likely to have any benefit. My friends lawsuit for money (which cost tens of thousands of dollars for him) ended in a settlement that they’d take his poor standing status off his transcript. He’s lucky his dad is an anesthesiologist and could afford to help him. What he was accused of also happened in a crowded room and not a single person there could confirm the accusers story. Yet it still cost my friend at least $40,000. | /r/MensRights | 26/09/17 04:43 PM
No such thing as innocent until proven guilty: University student, 21, accused of rape is banned from classes for a whole year while he awaits trialYou missed a big factor. In an infinite universe, you simply can’t prove somebody innocent. You can always make the argument that you didn’t check all possibilities. It’s the same way you can’t prove Bigfoot doesn’t exist or that god doesn’t exist. Therefore, the only thing you CAN prove is guilt. You can positively prove somebody DID do something. | /r/MensRights | 26/09/17 04:43 PM
