From the responses I’ve gotten here, I’ve decided to reevaluate my opinion. I have looked back and I agree that anytime I saw a post or comment like what i said, it was either downvoted or there were responses calling it out. I was being reactionary. I still think we should focus more on issues rather than bad experiences but I understand now this sub is a place for men to feel safe to vent as well as to call to action. I think there has to be a distinction between healthy and unhealthy. You could be considered obese but actually be healthy, depending on your lifestyle and activity levels. Anything outside of basic retail, you have to have a college education to qualify these days. Even base retail, you have to have resume experience. Men in that situation are in a no win situation. Answer them, and they will pick apart every syllable, every facial expression, to find an offense. Don't answer and you look either weak and defeated, or obstinate and misogynistic. I think the best thing to do would be don't engage, just calmly walk away, but even then you look like you're running, and they will chase you. You're right. But in our worker culture, you could have the flu and still have to argue with your boss to validate your sick leave. Even if you work with food! Plus, you can easily call your boss and say, I'm vomiting can't leave the bathroom, and he might excuse you. when I was 15-ish and my sister was maybe ten-ish, she used to beg to sleep in my bed. I'd go sa far as to lock my door and she'd pound on it all night long till my parents made me let her. It wasn't the result of anything unhealthy, she just had nightmares and was too scared to sleep alone. Outside of the nights, we weren't all that close, pretty much at each others throats. treat it as unreliable, as I do all surveys. Those things are never reliable. You never know exactly what specific question was asked, or how it was asked vs. how the author interprets the answer. You don't know where the author gets his sample size. You never know whether the respondents were being truthful or just fucking with the results. They are unreliable.

Actually, you could argue that there's more reason a wife donating her eggs would negatively affect a marriage. Women only have so many eggs, and every one she donates is one less chance for her husband to father children with her. But in any case, this wouldn't really work as a counter idea.
