2	I hate the "Women are afraid to walk alone at night" narrative There was a tiktok of a girl recording herself walking home during the day and there was simply a guy walking like 20 metres behind her. Every single comment was like "omg girl did you get home safe" "did she call the police?". Luckily eventually people caught on and started criticising the girl posting the video but the initial reactions in the comments were sick. So much for equality. Just to point out I personally didn't downvote your comment above but the simple act of wolf whistling (assuming no follow up) should not be criminally punished. I see it the same way as something as shouting "you're a cunt" at someone across the street shouldn't be punished as long as there's no escalation just an offhand comment.
