I have a mortgage on my apartment with a very small interest rate. I currently pay about 750€/m which is impossible to find nowadays where I live. I still have 15 years of payment, but I still have almost 30 years left of employment before legally considering retirement.

Depending on the cost of living and the benefits like universal health care and retirement, it is plenty to live a comfortable life.

I think it would be interesting to have an open discussion on a specific subject, for example "how to chose a career" but with people from different part of the world. What is true in the US might not be applicable in South East Asia or Europe. Even between countries within Europe. I'm a Software dev in France and I have a VERY comfortable life. I have no f*ck you money (since it is very difficult to move from one socio-economic level to the one above it) but I can do what I want when I want to.…

I'm not a native English speaker so I'm might be wrong on the real meaning. Does "contributing to the canon" mean "reinforcing what is considered true" or it can be something new that changes the paradigm of what was considered a truth ?

I like Real men Real style channel on Youtube because it goes over some basic stuff as well as more specific points. One thing was that it's better to dress your age AND your status in your surroundings. You will look like a fool if you dress business formal at a university sports club or street fashion in finances. Once you have that figured out, you build a capsule wardrobe where everything goes with anything. Chinos and jeans with polos and t-shirts in colors that match well and you will alwa…

I want to add 2 things to what you are saying. While so common points are applicale to most women, do not expect to do every point you mention with every women encountered. Just like everything else in life. You can be the best pizzaiolo in town and find yourself with the only person who finds it average at best. For 50 shades, I don't think it is the kinky stuff that women found appealing. It is the story of "super wealthy, young, stupidly attractive CEO with an incredible amount of free time f…

All the older guys here saying it like it is. You just realised that sex isn't a on/off switch, even for men. When there's is no chemistry, whatever the reason, you don't get hard. Plus when a chick is too assertive in the bedroom, I get flaccid too. I don't like being passive. Maybe I can learn to like it, but for now it is just boring.

You like their pictures and sometimes send a DM, they will see it and check out your profile. That's traction. Then if you have a nice profile, they will follow you. That's retention. Then with a bit of work and luck they will react to your stories. That's engagement. Or some business strategies, I don't know. About the hashtags, something like #beachlife or #adventure will be more often searched. I had japanese bikers follow me because I took a nice picture of a Kawa W800 with the hashtag #W800…

I agree, but it is difficult to take a step back and acknowledge your emotionnal state. Some people are blinded by anger in a split second, or starts crying at the first sign of distress. It takes a lot to assess emotions on the spot or even afterwards. But yeah it helps, a lot.

The really deeper stuff just seems like the insane ranting of bitter autistic types who cannot understand why their interpersonal failures are due to their total lack of people skills, rather than some giant conspiracy or evolutionary mindfuck. I've noticed that. Going too deep in the rabbithole can make you paranoid.

The most delusionnal also ? "Want more food ? - No. Here you go !" It's a silly comparison of course, but it is not hard to picture the limits of this mantra. See Trump and his defeat. I think it is better to reframe this as "don't see it as defeat/failure, but as experience garnered"

The important part is moving on, not forgiving. Forgiving depends on if the other person is feeling sorry or not. If you live with someone that treats you badly and doesn't care (or worse make you feels like the responsible), consistently forgiving him/her will only make you weak and prone to toxic relationships in the future. Stand up for yourself and choose to not forgive if it's best for you.

my bet is you Fcan't stay Paleo the rest of your life It depends on your definition of Paleo diet, but to me it is : meat, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. What more would you need ? And for the potato comment, it may be harmless in itself (although it really needs to be well cooked), the cooking method is at fault. Boiled in water is just so bland that you will want to add other stuff (sauces, sodas, whatever) or switched to another unhealthy way to cook it (deep fry with ketchup…

While I have never experienced it and still want to, I agree by comparing it to other stuff. Sex on the beach ? You get irritation and sand everywhere. In the snow ? Too cold to get an erection or she dries really fast. In a car ? Unless it's a huge car, it is really uncomfortable. Anal ? Can end in an horrible mess... The idea of an accomplishment and the work towards it are often more fulfilling than the accomplishment itself.

I don't know if it has been mentionned in the thread but before going full NoFap, there is a grey area. Kinda like doing other stuff but penetration before marriage. It's called edging. In my case I suspected an addiction to either porn or masturbation, so I tried going without it while keeping masturbating. After that, I tried the reverse, watching from time to time 1-2 'soft' videos to tease me, give myself a couple of strokes without nutting. I found that it was beneficial to release the tens…

An opportunity can be in plain sight, you just gotta grab it. With no plan in mind I bought a nice flat in a great location in under 3 months while I see people around me waiting years for the perfect opportunity to come. People will turn on you, especially at work. Upon hiring I was sold the usual BS that I was an important part of the company. The following if from my experience. It is self explanatory. You do not approach head on, you make eye contact first and make her aknowledge your presence. That second part also comes with "do not approach from the rear". Both those instances (head on and from the rear) create a negative element of surprise, especially if she doesn't know you well, or event at all. You make eye contact, little hand gesture and you approach indirectly. Following the counter at the bar, or navigating the tables wh…

Hey /u/VasiliyZaitzev, big fan of yours. Sure, at this point it's a 50/50 chance. It happened to a big chunk of us. But the question was about having a family, and the struggle between his personnal life and his family life. There's a potential downside on risking his assets, even more so in the US. Where I live it is less and less frequent as people realize that fathers are as much important as mothers. It is still a minority, but if you want to fight to keep you kid, there's a good chance you …

Man, at 35 you got a loving 22, you can marry her with a prenup to save your ass in case. Besides that I wouldn't say family is a detriment to your freedom. Maybe a limitation. You cannot do anything anytime, but you can demand from time to time to have your space. You can still hangout with your friends, have your hobbies, etc... Sure you cannot ditch everything and leave, but if you want to live abroad you can bring your family with you. It's all about compromise and negociation. Like in work …

I live in France, and all gyms, most stores, etc... are closed. Restaurants only do delivery and take aways. Also everyone is wearing masks. Now I can try to approach with a mask on but I wouldn't count on that. The only time I've seen people talking without masks is during smoke breaks, but I don't smoke so... IMO the Lion King technique is funny when talked about in a gym locker room with your bros, but I feel like you will sexualize and "degrade" her image in your mind. Not that there's is anything wrong with it, but it can harm the connection you are trying to have. Better imagine something less sexual, like she's clumsy and drop her drink on her, or having some food in her teeth.

Welcome to adulthood. I'm 33 but most of the people I hang out with are under 30. Because the rest is all about family/work. I also work 2-3 times harder to set up 'get togethers', because most people are putting effort in their romantic relationships and/or work, and don't event have the drive to order pizzas for a group of friend. Yep. Detaching yourself from anger is opening the door to detaching yourself from all emotions. And that's without mentionning the physical pitfalls it has like ulcer or cancer. It's better to act on your emotions than shutting them down altogether.

I don't understand... You want to learn about composure to be able to share your ideas with others ? Is it about presenting yourself and speaking in public ? Or is it specifically to debate ideas and win arguments ? Also conveying an idea in a simple way does not come with self control, but rather with a deep understanding of that topic. See Richard Feynman (alleged) quote on that. Paraphrasing is "if you cannot explain it simply, you don't understand it enough". Also you must remember that with…

I've been zero'ed out at 31. Mainly because I moved to the city where my ex lived. I've run away from my family in the past so I'm used to starting over. Granted it is emotionnaly harder when you are older, but it is practically easier since you should have money, a job, a place to live, etc... to get your life back on track. Now I don't care if people come and go. I have a handful of friends I can count on anytime.

Can attest to that. The thing with children is that they are unable to put words on their feelings, and cannot deal with the amount of it. As a parent you are here to teach them slowly. You also need to show them that despite their "wrong" doing, you still love them. But what I can tolerate from my daughter, I don't have the energy to tolerate it from a grown woman.

I see your point, but I don't like how you compare struggling to inaction. Some people struggle to find a job because of a lack of opportunities, skills, network, whatever. It can be improved. Not looking for a job is either lazy, or unrelated (clinical depression, but that's another subject). If it helps you cope with your own trouble then fine, but don't think of it as universal truth.

In my opinion, TRP doesn't really discourage marriage and kids per say, I think it has more to do with the fact that it's a huge risk for men, especially in more "leftist" country. Now you can find a women who wants a big family, BUT you have to always be prepared for a shitstorm coming your way at any given point. Like some other have said, prenup to protect your assets and you're good. So in short wanting to have a family is not blue pilled. Thinking you will find a unicorn that will unconditi…

I stopped reading after "it works at your place or hers". TRP helps you getting to that point. If you fuck up past that then you have more issues to work on. You cannot see women for more than sex ? You should consider them for their nature, flaws and all. You are not hypergamous, you are just extremely shallow. Do you have any issues with your family ? You seem to be turned off by anyone bonding with you. You are young and have time to fix that before it becomes a big problem. Finally, you might be projecting a wrong definition of hypergamy on you, for whatever reason. That does not mean it applies to everyone.

It is an interesting topic. I think there will always be a need for cheap labor, because there are jobs no "civilised" man will do (sweep the streets, scrubs dishes, etc...) but that someone at the bottom of the ladder will gladly do (immigrants looking to start a new life). With higher minimal wages comes higher standards, some jobs/tasks will be regarded as not to one's level. So who's gonna do it ?

Was about to comment something similar, but you nailed it on the head. Past 30 is choosing the lesser evil. Do you want a women tied to some other man for a child that will never be yours. [EDIT] : I've red the original post again and your comment in the main thread. It's not as easy as that write up. In their sexual prime (if they are above average) women will post a picture online and get hundreds of matches in a day, why would they bother try to know you, especially if you are not 'advertised' as in lots of stories on Insta ? In my humble opinion, frame is practiced everyday and in every setting. It is more difficult with women when negociating sex because it's in their nature to communicate in a manipulative way. You can practice frame at work or with friends, basically do things "on your terms" but don't fall in the trap to just think about yourself and dismiss others needs. You can do things on your terms but for the good of the client/company/friend/whatever. Also try to figure out if your interlocutor is more in…

giving them what amounts to paralysis by analysis Interesting. I knew that social media was making women loose touch with reality, but I never thought that they would be incapable of making a choice. Then again, women in general are poor decision makers. I think that they hesitate. What if someone better comes afterwards... That leads to flakes. I disagree with some points of the body of your essay, but I agree with the lessons learned. Boy or girl, we "usually" go through the same process. We, as boys AND girls, are all (or should be) breast fed. There is no difference. We are also the same as in we are treated the same way during our first year. Well the medicine might be the same. Cut ties, withdraw and take control of your life on your own. In the first case it was leaving the tribe, the second leaving the family, but what about the third ? Going off the technologies and re programming yourself to learn from other sources than what the system has put in place for you ? It sure is more difficult but it seems doable.

I had a difficult relationship with my parents and especially my mother. I cut all ties with them and started to build myself up. It took me roughly 8 years to become a fully grown and complete individual, but every moment of the process was enjoyable. Difficulties and all. It also took me a long time before being able to have meaningful relationships with people. You did the hardest part realizing what you lacked during your development. Now you only need to acknowledge your issues (if there ar…

It's true that the RP advocates experimenting and exposing one self to unknown or danger to promote growth. But I don't think that it was the RP that helped you get through that experience. Maybe your first car made you grow and you were more prepared. Maybe you were just older and wiser. I am not taking credit away from what you did or accomplished, but I wouldn't attribute every small victory to taking the pill...

It is a nice guide that deserves its own post. It seems obvious for the seasoned RPers, but it is nice nonetheless. I especially like the 13th point : Hookers can be some of the most sincere women in the world, because they put a price on something that too often is overpriced. and it transitions nicely to the next point : Women nowadays are seriously overvaluing themselves. Even the ugliest of women looks good in some pictures. You need to give those women some space Thanks for the share !

True, but the sentence at fault can make people think that you can choose to have attractive purpose. And that is wrong. It's like saying firefighter and doctor are attractive jobs, therefore if I want to be attractive I must choose either. One must not forget that being driven and being among the best in your field is attractive. Sure maybe not to your preferred type of women, but you should embrace what comes your way.

Not to mention a lot of companies run by a women CEO has performed less than expected. There's even a story about a former Silicon Valley tech woman trying to be a tech giant with only women, and was a gigantic failure. How can you learn on it ? Practicing a skill cannot be done on a phone can it ? But seriously, it's all about commitment. hm... It depends. The first is a tone setter, but you gotta watch if there's a shift during the second and third dates. Beyond that and you're putting yourself in the friendzone or whatever that is not gonna get you sex. Being a man is also taking action. If the girl is not feeling it during the first date, it's not a big deal. But if she's agreed to several dates after that and you still haven't fucked her or tried to, either she's doing it for the free drinks/meals or you are not taking action…

Some girls, more traditionally educated, might be the serial monogamist type and might wait for sex. 2 things : - they are extremely rare. More and more relationships are "use and discard". And with the availability of things, no one wants to wait anymore. - as a man, it is indeed never worth the wait. I think it's because they project their thought process of cheating onto the man. Like said, when a woman cheats it's over. Or she settled for a lesser man (to her) and it never was a relationship to begin with. When a man cheats, it's just an itch to scratch. Sure it can be controlled, but no harm intended. And with solipsism in the equation, women think it's all over or it never was. That's why they are hurt. Once you know that, you basically cannot be hurt in a relationship, you just move on …

In Europe (in France at least), taking your child from the other parent is kidnaping and you can loose your legal authority over him/her. You have to first make a legal case in which you fear for his/her safety, and then kidnap. Event with that, it'll only lessen the sanction during a court trial.

Not to mention the exotic factor. Being an above average looking white guy from a 'rich' country is super sexy. Even going to a city in the other side of the country can do wonders. There's mistery, DGAF attitude enabled by default, maybe a different accent when you speak, or a different skin complexion from where you are from. It's different and women like it.

Well of course it depends of the environment (aka the country you're at) and on a lot of others conditions. I'm a father and I've seen a lot of mothers in my kid's school being torn between "of course I love my kids !" and "I can't believe I miss out so much in life because of it". I see them being super aggressive with their children. Sure they must be taught how to behave but they're just kids... I also see a lot of people having kids like a fashion statement: "I have <any number> kids". I jus…

I did some marathon running and everything over 12km hurts That clears some points. You obviously listen to your body and act accordingly.
/r/TheRedPill27/06/19 10:34 AM

Your body should be able to handle itself no matter its metrics. At 190cm and 105kg, if fit and healthy, you should be able to sprint several times in a row. Maybe not fast, or not for long, but you should be able to. Exactly like dips, pullups, or deep step-ups, that's the bare minimum you should be able to do with your body. In my opinion of course.
/r/TheRedPill27/06/19 09:29 AM

If you want to do running / HIIT right, you should do it on no-lifts day and do it in nature. Sprints in the fresh air surrounded by trees is nice. Old pair of sneakers. Sunshine. Birds. Exactly, the mental effect running outdoors has surpasses the cardiovascular effect of the treadmill. Even with sprints.

I'd say strengthen your knees. squats with low load, high volume and slow eccentrics. Even bodyweight squats with slow eccentric should help. BUT go see a doctor that specialize in sports and performances. He should point you towards the true nature of your pain and how to treat it.

In summary, in order for a prenup to be effective, both parties must have their own separate attorney. Plus, the prenup must be: - Written. Oral prenups are not valid. - Executed voluntarily and without coercion. A prenup that’s signed the day before the wedding can be invalidated. - Executed only after full disclosure. If you hide assets and/or liabilities, you run the risk of invalidating the prenup. - Conscionable. A prenup cannot be unconscionable. In other words, the prenup could be invalid…

The average blue pill dating scene is 2-3 dates Exactly, even the most BP AFCs in my acquaintances are not stupid to the point of being in a sexless relationship from the start. However, the most majority of people hook up casually after a night of heavy drinking and then figure out if they want to be in a relationship. Which is not less miserable. Also the older women are often times more transparent with their intentions. They know and tell right away if they want to commit or just hook up.

I spent almost 20 years in a marriage with a chronically ill spouse, working at a job and profession that didn't want me to work in it, living in a city that didn't want me to live there. I fear that's going to be my future minus the marriage. I often felt an absolute loneliness at having no purpose, no intimacy, no real "family" Why do you think that ? Explain where I'm "mixing up mean and median value" The data indicates that 51 is the mean age of menopause. You add all the age of declared menopause and divide by the number of your population. It has nothing to do with median value where half the population is below (or above) that threshold. Especially if there's a huge gap between your minimum and maximum values... It might work in some cases. In my experience in big cities where everything is sped up, by doing so you look like an opportunity to 'do something different'. But in smaller cities where everything is more 'slow' and social circles are closer, you need to get validation through conversation. I still ask for a date right here and there occasionnaly though.

I am honestly speechless... If this is true I really hope she gets what she deserves and that the kid will be fine. As a father I see a lot of kids boys and girls when I drop off mine, and I love talking to them. You really how education plays a part in a little kid thoughts, and I always try and encourage to think for themselves, even a little. I'm gonna have a bad day now. Edit: I removed the hate inducing sentence... I haven't had my first cup of whiskey yet.

Well one of the points of the RedPill is to become the prize so... I fully agree on this one. Except that in the case of weddings, women want to be spoiled princesses even more than usual. Good luck with that. That is just plain stupid. That is not taking the expenses into account and the split of those expenses. Math is all wrong, think again. Justice should NEVER take emotions into account. It is (in my opinion) giving people the same rights/tools to settle their dispute. Your example only wor…

How is it that the first weekend I decide to go out alone complaining that none of my friends are able to go with me, you write this piece ? I've done it in the past when I was more reckless and it always was awesome. I think I allowed myself to drift, or to depend on others too much. It's time to get back in the game. Anyway, thanks for the reminder and the few advices, it is valuable and everyone can learn something from it.

You should have told him beforehand. Like everyone here says, you are a piece a shit of a friend. I don't mind going after friends' targets, but only with full disclosure. And I usually lose at that game and have a laugh about it. Keep backstabbing and see where it takes you.

I started to loose my hair pretty early, like 22-23. It was more thinning and receding than balding but letting my hair grow would make me look goofy. On a trip in the US I shaved my hair completely clean for the first time, never felt better. Now 31 I do my own buzz cut with the smallest clip and shave whenever I feel like it. Makes me look and feel like a total badass. It hasn't hurt my game with women, and I get a lot of both compliment and sympathy from guys, especially those who haven't tak…

Exactly, if OP can, I'd say he should keepo the sexual tension high so that the second he or she move out, they fuck like crazy. Coming back to a missed opportunity is a big thing for guys AND girls, use it.

Early 30s here, I got off the social media 2 years ago. I can't say it helped my game, but I do enjoy social meetings and gatherings more. Also girls are intrigued by this so I can open with it. I have no problem gaming young women, I can talk about a lot more stuff and I feel like I have a more open mind than my younger peers.

Pro tip: If a bitch has a scarce online presence she's either a devious ho bag or the opposite Exactly ! The few REALLY nasty bitches that I met didn't have any social media.

Not bad, I'm 32 and fell like 26-27, maybe it'll be better as I age.

True. It goes well with a basic principle to appear friendly: don't bore people with you talking about yourself or your hobbies, you just share it or show it, don't talk about it.

Ok then, that's a fair point. Doesn't change what I meant though.

It's not completely bad, animals do it because of their primal instincts. If you start to wonder, if you have a feeling that it is too much for you, then it is. Aspire to something a little bit greater. Random person: "What do you do in your spare time ?" You: "Listening to mumble rap and jerking off to porn." vs. Random person: "What do you do in your spare time ?" You: "I hit the gym 3-4 times a week and some painting to relax." Do I need to make myself clearer ? I love hamburgers, but if I ea…

I think we can all agree that we can find something enjoyable in some specific parts of modern music. Given the context you don't sound overtly elitist and I like your opinion. But please, don't do that at parties and enjoy the moment, or else you won't be coming to my birthday, and my mom makes killer cakes !

Is trap music ? I didn't know, it sounds like a kitten sleeping on a synthesizer. Power/Thrash metal is where it's at.

What band ? Christian metal or Symphonic metal don't count. In the old days, Motörhead looks fucking RP to me...

Seriously... It has been said numerous times... Faping is like any other coping mechanism. You jerk off to unload an emotional situation, likely a lack of success with girls (or boys, I don't care if you're into dudes). It is easy, quick to do, requires almost no effort on your part and gives you a (false) sense of relative well being. You need to realize that when you have actual shit to do like a job/passion/hobbies, you go out to see friends, you date actual women, you just stop watching porn…

Or he can tell her how this other plate is better than her. Competition among sluts is a powerful tool. Use it. I'd wait after the sex, and when she starts bragging about being a cum bucket, I'd tell her about a new plate that is so much more kinky than her. Like "You're nice and all, but this girl...". Then I'd grab a cookie and my 3D glasses, then watch her get mad and storm off.

Tool Nuff said... In the power/thrash category I really like Machine Head and as a bonus for us frenchies Gojira. The song Global Warming always put me in an almost transcendental state !

Ok let me clarify some things : you do not have a crippling depression. Decent aesthetics and engineering degree cannot be achieved with crippling depression. My guess is you just have impostor syndrome. It's everyone favorite game to bitch about nonsense to make other feel sorry for yourself, you play that game very well. So stop whining, start to have a clear representation of your worth (strengths AND weaknesses) and start to have a good time without hamstering all the time.

I don't get it... Are you trying to bang the best friend of your ex, or your ex best friend ? Either way you should do it. If it's the best friend of your ex : it's your ex and you shouldn't care about her friends she's a pretty shitty best friend to try and have sex with you If she's your ex best friend : was she really your friend to begin with ? If she's hot then bang her and expect to lose the friendship. if she really was your best friend and you parted ways, you shouldn't have second thoug…

You can just say that it's boring to continue like that and rather have a real conversation. Even if the texting is exciting, the rush coming with each notification wears off fast. You can still text 2 days after she replies and go further with a date, or move on. Virtual pen pal isn't worth it, you'll just be another orbiter.

Most married people with children have sex twice a week on the average and don't report being unsatisfied with their sex lives. Bullshit, that is because they lie and they don't want to appear miserable. They lie to themselves. Every guy I know tells me they aren't getting the sex they need/want, because that's how it is. And that's exactly what I don't want. Spinning plates is the way to go if you want to maintain 2 sexy times a week for a prolonged period of time. Monogamous relationships, esp…

Well, I've managed to do that during a 'talk', but it didn't seem to solve the issue... In retrospect it was maybe because she was acting like a spoiled brat ("I want that NOW") or because I didn't understand the nuances you mention ("we should..." vs "we need to..." vs "you should/need to..."). Or maybe, sometimes the relationship is already over in her head and nothing you could do can change it even with a titanium frame. Now that I'm out and that I DGAF, applying dread whenever we see each o…
