Hey! I know I make more money sub contacting, than I do at my actual job.

I like everything in your comment! Im just trying to help people start out. Making the "Actual $$$" for myself comes from sub contacting. Of course with an employer you can only work so many hours and make so much money

Thats funny. Ship work is can be pretty brutal. I work in a custom fab shop so not around many iron workers . i just want to create a channel that helps kids who are interested in tig welding fabrication.

Im sorry. I mean im not the brightest person. I just found out the exact niche I perform the best within my industry. I do custom fab jobs in a shop by myself so not around many "Meat head Iron workers" but thats a bummer about where your at.

Trust me people are so lazy these days it doesn't even matter. I can make all the help videos in the world and people will still rather just sit on their ass and do nothing . the company I work for right now needs welders and fabricaters so bad that thet are hiring at $20 an hour with no experience.

After watching the video it does sound like im discrediting trade schools or collage in general, so ill have to remake the video. My point was (and I wasnt being clear about it because stayed up all night working on somthing) if your not quite sure what to do in your life to give hard trades a consideration. Why? Because they are becoming easier to perform with modern tech and position increasingly becoming availible. Yes we need the tech industry and psychiatrists but literally so many ppl are …

Choosing a trade also has alot to do with your location. Are you willing to travel or relocate?for example; you can probably make more $$$ doing HVAC in hotter climates

Underwater welding can be very lucrative but it's super dangerous and you have to sit in a decompression chamber when you do deep Dives. If you just do small little commercial dives that are 30 40 ft reparing ships you're only going to make so much per hour the guys that make like $500 an hour are usally private contractors working for oil companies doing fracking under water and then after they Frac they do the cement casingthen they weld the tubing heads that go on top of the underwater well a…

Sorry I was working with my phone in my pocket I don't know how to delete that underwater welding to be very lucrative but it depends if you're going to be an independent contractor or work for a company if you're going to be an independent contractor he has to hire your own EMT and have a large insurance bond that can cost up to $500,000

That's awesome if you find the right opportunity you can get trained as an apprentice without going to school. There's going to be positions for electricians always available considering we use electricity everyday. Look up your local union and get registered and sign the books it might take a while but they'll eventually call you back with an opportunity show up on time, work hard and know a little bit of math and you'll be good
