Seconded. The female perspective top-posts are some of my favourites in the entire sub. Edit: On a read-through of the post, though, I agree with many of the other comments. Go out and have some fun with it, then report back!

I felt the same for a way about a month ago! I'd be out for around 10 days in a row and whenever night was approaching I had to find something to do. I had so much fun! When the honeymoon-extroversion eventually passed I started enjoying the time at home more to recharge my batteries and started going out every other/every third night instead.

It seems more the part that you're not actually looking to get laid from somebody else. Being in an open relationship may help with this(as you know that you can always fuck her) but being in a committed one is cheating and you shouldn't be seeking that out.

Oh, you're right. He didn't. In any case, my advice is generally agreed upon and if it was your 2nd or 3rd date you wouldn't need to stress the kino so much(as the other reply states)

Upheld this tradition for 2 years now and tonight the club I'm going to won't let people(with my cheaper ticket) in until after midnight. I agree with the first part but saying something like "you should be getting outside" is just wrong. Lots of people are on Skype/Facebook during the day and won't go out until later. These are times when people usually talk. That said, confronting somebody about not talking to you is quite rude.

The parts about inner game will serve you well for the rest of your life. Find hobbies you enjoy, friends you enjoy spending time with and lay a good foundation for your future. As to your question, high school relationships may be the first serious physical intimacy you get with another person so I would say skip the parts about specific venues you can't go to but most of the rest should be applicable to you.

There's nothing but drama on FB anyway Bullshit. As an exchange-student FB is incredibly useful for keeping track of people you meet, sharing pictures and staying in touch with friends back home. Sure, there are substitutes for all three of these categories but why bother when I can so easily have them all in one place? I understand your point, though. I'm glad you're able to look at the positive side of things since many guys seem to forget that. By doing the same thing I've always been doing when meeting new people. If you're not comfortable with cold-reading(which you should strive to be) then questions are completely fine. As long as you don't bombard her with them. Eventually we will find some common ground that we can build the conversation on and become friends with.

I think devoutly is too strong of a word for it. I love a girl who has a little bit nerdiness to her and it doesn't have to be much. To those girls I feel comfortable referring to WoW as my "dark ages" which is usually received in good humour. What's better with it is that I can talk about the experiences I had with it. The successes, the frustrations and friendships I built through it. If I feel close to her I can also relate to the guild-setting and finding a bunch of people that were as passi…

There's a lot of dancing going out on the floor, and I was having anxiety about looking like the "gay friend" of the group with all these girls. Interesting to see this perspective as I hadn't considered it. I think you're over-thinking it. Yesterday I was going out with two lady-friends to a dinner that would afterwards be bars/clubbing or whatever. Once I get to our meetup spot I notice one of my friends talking to 6 girls or so. When the final tally was done, there were 9 girls and me. As for…

changing how you are just to pick up women is very shallow and shows lack of character This hit me quite a bit. One of the reasons I wanted to improve my confidence and social skills was to get women which in the end is shallow, like you say.. However, once I got deeper into the rabbit hole I realized that improving upon myself would affect so many more areas than that. I care less about women now and rather meeting them is a side effect of my improved social life, my newfound happiness and will…

Not sure if it's relevant as it doesn't actually give advice on how to participate in the conversations.. I think you're giving good advice. I have a few friends whom I visit sometimes and often we end up in their apartment talking about random things. Many times, I cannot contribute to the conversation without stating obvious things. OPs post: I got a message on OKCupid the other day from a cute blond in broken English. Could you explain why you think so? I'd rather hook up with a girl who's attracted to me and doesn't lie about having a boyfriend. Which is "easy" according to you. Do you feel like the more work you have to put in to attract her to you makes it feel a lot more fulfilling?

Why did she see you two as "just friends"? That is usually determined when you start talking on OKCupid. Still, becoming mad or feeling entitled to a girl putting out just because she came to your apartment isn't a very good idea and she clearly wasn't comfortable with you.

I don't generally enjoy clubs but Clubs are a high-energy environment where people go to dance, freak out and have a good time. If you're not having fun while you're there, I don't see why the women would like to approach you. If you're talking about getting approached in everyday life I hear it's the same. More about attitude and the vibe you send out rather than the way you look.

A shame that he was downvoted just for that because indoor rock climbing is actually a gold mine. You have all these fit people that you share a common interest with and if nothing else you won't be climbing alone.

Why do you think you are uninteresting? Even though you are hiding it, just having the mindset that you are not an interesting person affects the way you talk and behave around others(as you've noticed) Opening up and getting to know eachother is a two way street.

I accidentally brought two friends together and we were out in a group too. We don't know her, we don't know you and the fact that you're looking for ways to "not mess up" is that you're telling that you will mess up. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy and I hope this leads you to take a look at your mindset!

With a small addendum. If she tells you to fuck off after being told that she's cute, the reason is probably not with you. People have shitty days sometimes and you don't know half of the shit she could potentially be going through. Just find someone else and spread the love. It's also possible to put yourself in their shoes. How would you react if someone randomly approached you during the day? I know I'd be talkative and pleasantly surprised.

God yes. I went out to a club with a few friends last night, one of whom can be pretty anxious about meeting women. I challenged him to say hello to as many people(stressing this, guys and girls) as possible while I was doing the same. He ended up sucking at it while I was having a blast with it. Legal, schmegal, it's a bit creepy and i'm not sure her parents would approve of it either. Most people take their own age, split by 2 and add 7 and that's pretty much universal. Which in your case becomes 20/2+7 = 17 (don’t want to be known as the guy who can’t score haha.) Your second problem right here. To turn on their "x-ray vision" and imagine the girl naked. A lot of women are used to having guys look at them with creepy stares and uncomfortable behavior and if they don't look them in the eye then chances are the guy won't be "encouraged" to behave creepily.

Telling a girl you find her attractive is bold and she'll probably just blush and say "thank you" or you'll notice if she felt uncomfortable. Incredibly good stuff that answered a few questions for me. I've realized during the past couple of weeks that whenever i'm talking to somebody, friend or stranger i tend to hold my arms in protectives poses or even touching my neck. When i don't know what to say i tend to be pulling at a string of hair and i've never been able to figure out why. It's really comforting to have seen this and knowing what it is i can catch myself doing it and make myself stop doing it.

If she's with a group of friends or you're at a house party then i suggest trying "Fuck, Marry, Kill" Usually yields interesting results.

"Now I've just got to hope that I hear back from her. If I do, and if we get together, that'll make this the best result that I've gotten from a cold approach so far." You stated yourself that you may be overthinking and i actually think you are. A little bit at least. Don't put off new approaches and pray that she messages you just because things have started working out with this girl. It sounds like she had a nice time with you and if she wants to get together again she'll let you know.

Not the best kiss i've had but i'm still happy about it. I was at a party and met a girl like 4 hours before midnight. Did some light kino which she responded well to and i cursed myself for not escalating. I lead her around to places like dancing/finding alcohol and spots where we could be alone and we basically just got to know eachother. When the midnight hour came and everybody was outside(14 guys and 6 girls or so) i went up to her and said "Let's do it". She smiled a cute smile and said "A…

It's actually kind of amazing. You hear about so many people with bad experiences from strangers starting to talk to them and when asked they say "I don't like strangers talking to me" Then a completely genuine guy like this comes up and rocks their world. It's awesome!

Oh yes. The whole "It takes too much energy and is just very draining" is a poor excuse. Once he's out of the comfort zone he won't mind people wanting to talk to him and wanting to be around him(life of the party) But until he realizes he's just producing just a load of excuses to stay in his comfort zone there won't be much progress.

On one hand it's sad that now in the last month i feel more comfortable and happier than evere i won't be gaming on New Year's eve. Instead, party in a desolate happy place in the who-knows-where of Sweden with a bunch of friends. K-closed one of the girls who will be there last we met and we may yet still have a thing for one another.

A post from yesterday was pretty neat about building your social empire. http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/15e8gb/tales_from_the_cool_kids_table_including_building/ Read it and make a conscious effort to see how it applies to your situation.

It's the same way you'd go about if someone did a "shit-test" or whatever it's called on you. Just laughing it off with a snide comment shows people you don't really care and just want to have fun.

I'd like to think your girl was just keeping her around to make herself feel better/more attractive. They probably just knew eachother from way back but dear god what a drag. You handled yourself well though :)

Then when are you going to meet the women you're picking up from Match.com? 3 AM too? The time you're free to meet these people or sit around and send emails(tedious work, speaking from experience) is also time where you have opportunities to practice PU. If meeting someone or learning to do it is something you really want then i suggest you look at your work situation or possibly put off some other stuff that you enjoy for a while.

If you have time to sit around and get invested in a dating site then i guarantee you have time to meet people like people here does.

Third time's a charm? It sounds like there's a reason things aren't working out between you two anymore. Should this resurface which is far from unlikely then you're just wasting time trying to repair something instead of building something new that makes you feel happy again.

In almost any conversation there will be things that you both relate to and pointing these out and spinning further on them usually creates a connection. Going to list a small example "I love listening to Eminem! It brings me back to my childhood where i would sit in my room, listen and try to sing along. He's also been a huge inspiration for me in later years." Assuming she's in any way related to music you may either bond over singing/childhoods or promptly get told about how she thinks Eminem…

He has a point. If you don't have a lifestyle with hobbies that you enjoy and feel passionate about, how are you going to convince women that you're a guy worth keeping around? The few women you'll find will likely receive more investment from you than they'd like and there wouldn't be any independence. The book Models by Mark Manson deals with this subject pretty well too.

I've always made some witty remark about how she carries too much stuff around or playfully said "If it please your majesty" and once her hands are empty i make sure she gets them back. There are boundaries, however. Carrying around her stuff through a mall or something because she's too tired/lazy to hold it is not something i'd recommend.

It's kind of amazing where people got the idea of "Holy shit, if i don't get all this bullshit out of my mouth as FAST as possible then he/she will become bored with me" Hit me like a truck when i first found out i actually did that and after experimenting with telling stories to people it rarely ever happens for me. Telling something with excitement and making sure you don't miss out the good parts usually gets other people excited to listen too.

That's actually kind of cute! If someone else works up the courage to approach a stranger, why not just jump the band wagon? In all seriousness though, it sounds like you acted out the situation well and got a great story to tell your friends out of it.

There's a level of friendliness, yes. Although it sounds like she was genuinely enjoying his company, so i'd still say it counts :)

Just realized i misunderstood the question. Point trying to emphasize is anyways not seeing rejection as a bad thing and like you i enjoy staying away from numbers as far as possible.

Taken pretty much directly from "Models" by Mark Manson If we're going to snow ourselves in percentages i've heard it's about 1% of the women any guy meets that he sleeps with. For guys who has "game" it's about 8% so the best you can do is around 8 times better than the other guy. However, that's not why rejection is your friend. If a girl rejects you then you've both just saved some time and hurt. If she has a reason for rejecting you(which she does) then you probably wouldn't have worked out …

Semi-right. The whole "got something interesting to say" is an AA in itself too. The important thing isn't saying the right thing, but how you approach her and how confident you're coming across. First thing coming to mind is something along the lines of "Hi, i'm looking for X(something in the direction of where she'll be walking) Do you know where it is?" And with a bit of luck she'll be walking with you and allowing you to start a convo. Worst thing that can happen is she'll follow you somewhe…
