It's victims, not survivors. Why is a MensRights sub adopting feminist language?

I am, the person I quoted isn't, and that's what I'm criticizing. You have terrible reading comprehension. If you're going to reply to someones comment, have the decency to actually read what they're saying.

"I told the kid it was okay to express his emotions however he needed to" This kind of attitude will raise boys into whiny pansies who feel the need to get emotional over the slightest inconvenience. It is good parenting to encourage boys not to cry, and it isn't a sign of something being wrong with the culture. MRAs should be defending rather than chastising it. This sub has really gone downhill.

There is no contradiction between my two comments. The person I replied to was talking about encouraging men to be more physically affectionate. I opposed this not because being more like women is inherently a bad thing, but because men and women differ in this regard and it's silly to assume that men need to change their behavior to be more like women. Men, in general, are more comfortable with having less physical contact with each other than women are. That isn't something that needs to be ch…

Nowhere did I suggest that men DON'T want to be physically touched. As I said in another comment, they can and do show affection physically, just not in the same way and as often as women do. It's the suggestion that the reason they aren't as similar to women in this regard because of cultural disapproval which I am ridiculing. And don't throw women under the bus in an effort to prove a baseless point. I didn't do this.

Being overly emotional and weak are obviously negative things. Expressing them more than you should will obviously have detrimental side effects. It is not without reason that these traits are looked down on. Again, it shouldn't be expected that a man always keep his emotions in check and always be strong, but nor would it be healthy to break these norms as you seem to think.

Nowhere in my comment did I suggest that men shouldn't show affection for each other physically. They can, and do. They just feel comfortable doing it to a lesser degree than women do. There is nothing wrong with this. Suggesting that because men don't hold hands and snuggle like women do because they're discouraged from doing it is the mindset of a feminist. A group MRAs used to understand the flaws of but, judging by this thread, no longer do.

Our culture looks down on weak, emotional, and overtly touchy men Rightly. These things are not virtues, and while it shouldn't be expected for a man never to show weakness at any point, it should be discouraged.

Is this sort of effeminate weakness what the MRM has been reduced to? Good lord. It looks like the feminist types and their screeching for men to be more like women has actually rubbed off. Highly disappointing.

Interesting considering I've barely ever commented or posted here.

A /r/Feminism poster defending a woman who decapitated a baby, who would have thought it? And getting upvoted for it. This sub has gone to shit.

Yes, everyone here is "salty" because someone swore. Or maybe it's because that person told someone high up in NASA to suck her dick and balls. What a fucking dumb subreddit.

Your point was stupid. There's nothing "fine" or "great" about being circumcised.

My son had it done, If you actually have a son, you should be ashamed of yourself for this.

And of course, just downvotes instead of replying. I guess the only reason you came here is to berate people, then leave?

It might be just a joke, but it's a pretty common opinion that teachers having sex with their students is perfectly okay, and the students are just lucky. Go to any article with a comment section about such a case, and you'll see people talking about how the teacher shouldn't get in trouble, and how they wished it happened to them. But of course, if you swap the genders, then it's time to complain.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
