1	My girlfriend continues to make me proud. I think you're right about the imbalance between parents and non-parents, but you've got the solution backwards. If you were to offer (for example) all employees a 6-week paid vacation package renewable every 3 years that would be equitable to everyone regardless of parental status, without being an additional financial burden on new parents at a difficult time. Both are true: society and social development encourages different professions, and there are also very scientifically-proven differences in gender abilities (multi-tasking, emotion recognition, spacial reasoning to name just a few).
