South Florida is ruthless on anyone who is overweight. It's a warm climate here and folks don't need to wear a lot of clothes. As well, nightclub game is fierce combat down here. If you're not going to play by nightclub rules, best to find a more productive venue until your fitness and verbal/social skills have improved sufficiently.

For the record, I am NOT a "poor motherfucker". I have been given one of the rarest gifts that a man can receive. I know the approximate time of my death (most likely in May) and have some time in advance of that. I can sort out my affairs. I can let folks know the my end is nigh. I can also be the nastiest, ugliest, most hate-filled asshole ever to walk the planet, if that's what I decide (unlikely). But I will not let this opportunity go to waste.

This is the standard "be yourself" bullshit and the hallmark of concern trolls. Tell ya what, dimwit, if "being yourself" isn't getting what you want in life - and it's not just sex - then perhaps your persona sucks and you need to make some changes.

I have found that "no" is the most important word in a man's vocabulary. Corollaries to that: "Because I said so" "Because I chose to"

No extra words. I think the story stands well for that reminder. I do, however, have a prediction that private, effective male birth control will be strongly resisted by women's groups.

The power of the male voice has been known by orators for centuries. A man with a powerful and compelling voice is perceived as a leader. A man with a weak, low, reedy, nasal voice gets instant demerits even if his words are powerful, compelling, and truthful.

I've been approached by the media in the past. They are basically poison. However, if you record the whole interview and post on your own website (let them know in advance you are doing this), it changes the whole dynamic.

I don't tell women I meet about why I wear my eye patch. If they have the audacity to ask, I make up some wild story that is clearly not the truth. I'll let her come up with her own story to believe and I just move on with the conversation. I lost two girls when I opened up about my cancer. Never, ever again.
/r/TheRedPill10/05/16 08:24 PM

When the cancer metastasizes, immunotherapy might be an option. But until then, not much I can do. Plus, the cost of that therapy is massive ($12,500 a month, full retail). Also, the success rate is not that good right now. Basically, no cure.

Yeah... don't get cancer. Well, too late for me on that one. But after I was diagnosed (ocular melanoma - I already lost an eye and the cancer will metastasize) back in late 2013, I knew full well that neither sympathy nor empathy would be coming my way. So, I went on with life, rarely talking about it to women. I got huge respect and desire from those women for not making a big deal about a disease that will take my life and likely pretty soon (within three years or less). A man must be an emot…

Anyone who lies about having cancer is a worthless sack of shit. I cut them no slack, regardless of their motive for making up such a bullshit story. If they insist on lying, I'd be more than happy to help them lose a body part as part of their "treatment". This one hits close to home.

The discipline of a firm schedule is your next step. While you might be in the middle of a thorny code issue, the clock tells you it's time to hit the gym. The code must wait. The clock, for now, is your master. This is discipline 101. As you're working out, you might think about a solution to that thorny code issue. Hint: carry a pen and a small notebook to write shit down for when you return to the computer.

Remember the "Bratty Little Sister" rule. Would you take the debate with your bratty little sister seriously? This goes double since she committed a logical fallacy. Her definition of a "healthy discussion" is one where she makes the rules and sets the vocabulary. Don't fall into this trap. "Damned right I can't have a healthy discussion with you looking like that. Turn around, I want to see your ass." Biggest mistake that young guys in college make - taking college girls too seriously. #eyeroll…

As your career advances and you get more sucked in to it, the opportunities for socializing with relative strangers will diminish. Now is the time to take advantage of such social opportunities. Talk, watch, and practice your charisma.

When a guy is ready to learn, a teacher will appear. You ain't that teacher because he's not ready to learn. Let him crash and burn on this one. He's young and after a couple more crash and burns, he'll hopefully be ready to learn. Just know that he might double down and become a serious chumpasaurus.

The previous commenter is 100% about the alcohol part. Handling your liquor is vital and shows you're in control. When in doubt and dealing with the girlies, drink less. Consider that episode a learning experience and adjust your drinking accordingly in the future.

Congrats, you did extremely well. "Talk about a lot of mixed signals. I can't decipher you." Now she'll try to fill in the blanks on her own and since she's attracted to you (that kiss), she will fill those blanks with good things. This is not a hard and fast guarantee but it is an increased probability. You left her wanting more.

All three. By doing so, you're making them all feel comfortable and establishes your social value quickly. Be sure to establish eye contact with each of them while you're talking. Even if the conversation is brief, you'll see the indicators of interest.

Review some of the basics as found in the website "Succeed Socially" (Google it, it's free). There is a lot there that is basic but it will be a good reality check. It's mostly text, be warned. Try to spend more social time with a wider age range. Older folks can be interesting (sadly, too many are still boring as fuck) and have a different style of conversation. The ultimate social skill is public speaking. If there is a local Toastmasters group, attend a couple of meetings to gauge if it's for…

Since you read military fantasy, then military history (non-fiction) would be a great place to start. The books of Steven Ambrose are well written and extremely well researched. They are also exciting and compelling as fiction (for me) My favorite is Citizen Soldiers. You're absolutely correct about using the least amount of words. I'm glad I was a part-time journalist for a number of years because it taught me to use a paucity of words when writing. I hope my blog shows that.

Here's the crux of the problem: "A guy at the Spanish meetup group gave me his number, but I have no reason to contact him." facepalm FIND a reason to contact. Tell him you're going to a cool bar to meet women. You're at the salsa classes and involved in a Spanish group. This is the perfect opportunity to make small talk with guys. Don't like small talk? You're fundamentally correct. Slapping some Red Pill varnish on a Blue Pill psyche is not going to work particularly well. Given my age (53) and my long experience with humanity in general, I've got a very good handle on human behavior, especially when it involves women. Before I give specific advice, I make a point to determine the level at which a guy is involved in Red Pill thought and actions.

If she does that again, yes. But be a bit cocky about it. Here's my go-to line when a woman says something like that. I raise my eyebrows and look at her with a smirk: "Oh? I see you have your self-esteem issues under control" It's sort of a shot across the bow and lets her know you're not going to fall for her manipulation in the future.

Here's the phrase to be wary of: "I get to go out with a hot girl." If she pulls that shit again, you need to be on your guard. Such a phrase is an indicator that her self-esteem is getting out of control.

Read a lot. Lean towards non-fiction but have a bit of fiction you enjoy, regardless of the genre. Keep a dictionary (or link to one online) handy for words you don't know. There are "manuals of style" that are useful for some of the writing mechanics. Strunk and White is the old favorite. The Chicago Manual of Style is also good. Here's the deal, you only THINK there's something wrong with you. Two young girls set this up. Girls... flighty, immature, overly emotionally, fundamentally worthless for your present and your future. As they possess the golden vagina, the guys defer to them. They worship them. Here's a couple of bullet points to get you started: Women are attracted to a man's confidence, charisma, competence, and leadership. Work on those things as part of your masculine self-improvement (MSI) efforts. Self-improvement is fundamentally a selfish endeavor. Do it for yourself, not just to be attractive to women. That attractiveness is secondary and a side effect to your successful MSI efforts.

The results from any anonymous surveys on such topics must be treated as woefully inaccurate. People lie to make themselves feel better and if it's an anonymous survey, the opportunity to lie is enormous. Sociological studies that rely on field work are a far better way to draw conclusions regarding the state of our culture.

This. This cancer is a melanoma which means it spreads via the bloodstream. Based on DNA analysis of the tumor, there is roughly a 25% chance of it spreading. When it does spread, it almost always goes to the liver and it's universally fatal at that point. Here's some good background: http://www.ocularmelanoma.org/disease.htm

I have an extraordinary rare form of cancer. It's cancer of the eye. I was diagnosed and received initial treatment (laser!) in late 2013. In late 2014 the cancer came back and my right eyeball was removed. I still date the womenz. I never, ever complain to them about my likely fatal condition. Hell, the eyepatch looks awesome! “Um” and “Er” are the killers of perceived confidence to the listener. These monosyllabic interruptions are simply irritating. A confident man must be in control of his words. “Um” and “Er” shows a complete lack of control. Ask your male friends if they think you’re using too many vocalized interruptions like that. If yes, here is a good way to get rid of them – buy a desk bell (like in old hotels) and invite some friends over for beer and pizza. Assign one person to ring the bell every time you…

Get a map. Find Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. It's a village surrounded by a city and lots of tourists, snowbirds, and day-trippers come to visit - most often during the winter season - so meeting new people is easy and lots of fun, especially with my ugly dog.

There are lots and lots of dating coaches for women. It's a quickly growing industry. I had an interesting phone call with one of these coaches based in California. I don't blame you for thinking that 90% of it is scamming. I get many of those marketing emails from PUA gurus. The marketing is atrociously misleading: "Watch this video, get laid tonight" sort of thing. The link in the email most always leads to a video which is nothing more than a long advertisement for some PUA system. Eh, that's marketing, for better and worse. I don't take it too seriously.
/r/TheRedPill08/01/14 09:27 PM

I'm talking about one-on-one dating coaches such as Evan Marc Katz and Bobbi Palmer. Their primary market is post-divorce, professional women. Those type of dating coaches are basically teaching girl-game to the feminist generation, one client at a time. It has nothing to do with pickup. But like I said, I do NOT want to be a dating coach. I want to be the presenter for organized classes/seminars for post-divorce men and women alike.

Given the average age here, consider your father's and mother's generation and the help that those single people need. Why do you think the dating coach business is growing so fast? Of course she hated the analogy. It's because she knows full that she knows little about attracting and dating women. An angry response indicates that the original statement was true. Oh, great question! I can't think of one right off the top of my big, bald head. But go over to Roissy/Heartiste and check those pages he's got on the header of his blog. Manosphere wisdom is quite disparately located and this makes it a challenge. Ian Ironwood has a big Manosphere book coming out.

Bounce to a new location. Get mildly physical during the bounce by offering your arm and telling her "take my arm" in a casual manner. The physical closeless does change the vibe and you come across as confident and a "protector".

I'll probably be making the meetup an annual event. Hell, it's Spring Break, after all. I have limited experience with the Miami scene because it's quite a distance from Fort Lauderdale just for dating.

Start with a baseline of positive femininity. Any woman who takes pride in being bossy and domineering (or simply acts like that) is not a woman to be involved in a seriously relationship with. Add some nice things like warmth, pleasantness, generosity, passionate, affectionate, and respectful to round it out. Yeah, hard to find, I know.

And in all honesty, I am The Private Man. I just thought Zamarski would be a funny pseudonym.

The unintended consequence will be a steeper drop in birthrates in educated countries. However, as I have no kids and no real investment in our western culture, I'll be poolside with Roissy to watch the decline with detached bemusement.

Actually, men have been liberated from their gender roles quite a bit. It's just that they decided that a lifestyle of porn, video games, not struggling for a lame-assed career, learning how to get easy sex using pick up artistry techniques was far more rewarding. Men get what they want and don't have to sacrifice much. Work hard, get married, start a family? That's for chumps.
