I agree, but I think a good lawyer could probably take it either way... They could say that she was putting her fist up as a warning that she felt threatened, was pushing him away. He grabbed her violently, she hit him in self defense. Hard to really say who the "aggressor" was here. She did initially threaten him, but it was him who escalated the violence by grabbing her. I'm going to get downvoted to oblivion for this, but I can't agree that he was completely justified here. It looks like they were both drunk, and both acted stupidly. It seems that she initially put her fist up and acted in a threatening manner, and pushed him back a bit. Agree 100%. I'm a white male who is quite embarrassed by many posts on /r/mensrights. We need to stop framing every issue as us vs. them. It shouldn't be about victory over women. Every time women are put down or attacked in this sub, a small part of our credibility is lost.

This should be posted to /r/cringe. You want to appear to be egalitarian yet your headline is targeted specifically against women. Why couldn't you say that you are tired of explaining this to people? Why did you have to level is against women?
