At a minimum you have to possess the gerund, so "...as proven by our current President's being elected." But really that sentence is a grammar mangle. A better way to write it would be "Zanctmao: while this has nothing to do with anything, I believe president Trump was elected because the liberal political philosophy went too far and he was an inevitable backlash."

In civil law? Probably first and foremost the cost of litigation. A divorce shouldn't only be affordable for people who are fighting over millions of dollars. In criminal law? the war on drugs, and the attendant erosion of the 4th amendment in response to the perceived need to prosecute. Also mandatory minimums.

Had you just simply said something to the tune of "This topic isn't producing a worthwhile return in constructive discussion. It's now locked" that would have had a profound effect. I've gotten like 10 PMs, and have been pinged here three times. The hate is real. So I figured I'd give you a chance to let me have it. I do agree that the small dick PUA comment wasn't very original - so that's a valid point. Of course I was having to delete stupid reports every two-three minutes in the middle of a 6-6 extra innings game, so I was pissed. Beer may have been involved. That said, the behavior displayed since then has not caused me to reevaluate my underlying opinions one iota.
