This is the kind of person I can hear saying "Wow, we try to be nice to these people....". The problem is that I doubt she sees, even upon reflection, nothing wrong with what she did.

This was in 2015. Are we really here again? Lets go over the facts from 2015: The grant was a STEM grant for getting girls encouraged in engineering. Grants are temporary and after this one ran out the school could keep the LEGO blocks and everyone could play with them. Yes the comments by the teacher seemed crappy (especially adding "When Hell freezes over") and she should be admonished for this. But I would bet these were cherry picked comments and probably not in context. Reason: So many of t…

Oh, my apologies. Let me try again. Go fuck yourself you fake news apologist. A lie is a lie and pointing out the bullshit is not censorship you dim witted moron. Grow a brain, try to educate it and swim out of the shallow end of the gene pool you self aggrandized shithead. Ignored!

Amazing, you just do not see how ending a valid, well thought out argument with "...so fuck off." totally invalidates what you said. Please, your point above is very insightful and does make me think, but take the time to edit it and remove "so fuck off" and it would read so much better. If you do so then I will delete this comment and the point you are making can be viewed with consideration.

She was convicted, and did her time. If the time was not enough for the crimes committed then that should have been addressed at sentencing. She now stands up years later for a cause and rather than deal with the issues related to the cause, those against the movement attack the person. This is a classic tactic. If you can invalidate the person speaking then anything they say or are involved with, regardless of its validity, can be thrown into question. Trump does this all the time. Attack the m…

Again, company policy is not law. Facebook can claim all day that your identity must "this" and must "that" but they do not require any proof, nor validation. Only if it is specifically brought up to them might something happen. And that is rare. People who rely on companies to police in any area where there is not a profit, are wishing in the wind.

Lets make this simple. Rape is sexual intercourse without consent. The gender of the victim is irrelevant.

However the term White privilege suggests that poverty only exists within one skin color.

Agreed but temper that with the realization that the privilege itself is an assumption. I am constantly judged on my height, weight, hair style, clothing, general mannerisms, and many other aspects that have no bearing on the activity at hand. While dermal pigmentation is one aspect of assumed privilege, all other categories of perception are also vectors of privilege that are constant, societally acceptable, and span all cultures. The fact that people will more readily hire someone "Like them" …

Lets also remember that the blame for white privilege is to be placed on those granting the privilege not those receiving it. This blame for people who did nothing wrong but were treated differently because of their skin pigmentation is not the fault of those being treated that way. It is those who choose to treat them differently that are the problem. So I have no guilt over the presumed white privilege that may or may not have been granted to me as I had no control over the person granting or …

Um.. no. By law it is rape when a member of society who is above the age of consent has sex with one who is below the age of consent. That is rape and you are wrong.

Men's lives matter. Edit: (and womens, and other gendered or identified) lets face it... All lives matter --- Except Daesh (ISIS), those twats can go to hell.

Seriously though you don't want to unleash pepper spray in an area that confined. It would fill the room and leave it terribly difficult to occupy for at least an hour or two.

Little does he know that it will be claimed as rape whether she has agreed or not. Its just a honey pot style trap. He can never have sex with them, it will always in all ways (to them) be rape. He's like Grizzly man. He thinks he's one of them and will until it's too late.

The exemption for a company to pay for birth control on religious grounds is far more ludicrous than even the women's studies arguments he made. People believing in some magical mystical being is not a viable reason for them to not contribute to the society they live in to the same degree as others. This is virtually the same argument as the anti-vaccers use. Our mystical friend says we should not do that so in order to benefit ourselves we should be allowed to endanger the populace with a preve…

Wait a minute.... He started in Nov 2000 and quit in Feb 2014. This went on for 13+ years and he never went to his supervisor, never filed a complaint and put up with it for over a decade??? Something is missing.

Frankly I think this applies to humans rather than one sex. I've seen friends of mine get really paranoid, and occupational towards their girlfriends and wives after they themselves have cheated. It's almost as if by doing it they realized how easy it is to do and cover up, and then realize that their mate could have been doing it the whole time. Gotta love that transference.

I think the difference is that your Mom actually knew the nuances of your father where girlfriends and wives only know the highlights they are told. Girlfriends and wives (the crappy ones mind you) tend to take anything negative you have told them about your father and store it away for later use against you. its just a way of saying "You know that thing you couldn't stand about your father? You are just like that." Its simply a dick move to cause pain.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
