Agreed...the comment sections here are often a minefield of bitter calls for attack.

See, if I see someone struggling with a bag, I'll help them out. Not because I want to prove my strength, or because they have a vagina. I'll do it because I can, and they can't, and I like to help people. That being said, this lady's kind of an asshole.

Don't get sexist now. Come on.

There's a point here, yeah, but it comes across with the most bitter aftertaste... Perhaps there's a more eloquent way of portraying it?

Some people don't get that EQUAL and IDENTICAL are two different things.

http://www.snopes.com/quotes/mackinnon.asp Mackinnon never said that. Doesn't detract from how fucked up the rest of them are, though.

You've all missed my point, or perhaps I haven't conveyed it well enough. Either way I don't care enough to try again. Deleting this shit so I stop getting messages about how retarded I am.

Go rant somewhere else please. Not every woman is/was like this, and implying that they are/were makes us no better than feminazis. Keep your head on straight.

Current top comment from /u/MostBravest: on the WTF subreddit. A lot of people are completely missing the point of this cover. This was published by a student newspaper at an Australian University (not a college). Under Australian Classification Guidelines images of women in magazines are airbrushed to remove any visible labia, and are reduced to a single crease. It is illegal for a magazine to show an image of a protruding labia, and this has supposedly led to an increase in labiaplasty due to …

This has wiped the fog off of a lot of windows into the future. Thank you, nobody2000. Good guess, by the way. I "know" 4 languages other than English, but only at first-grade levels. Becoming fluent in Mandarin was my next step, since that's the most globally popular language and the easiest for me to grasp. Peace Corps might be the right direction.

Lots of college discussion going on here, I'll take the opportunity to ask... After changing majors time after time I've run out of college-time and am now pursuing an applied linguistics degree with a minor in English. What the shit do I do. Is the only option teaching EFL/ESL? Or does anyone know a subreddit I can direct this question to? :/

HALF the time I go to kiss a girl on the cheek after meeting them, I get funny looks. You don't say? haha. Kisses akin to handshakes can clearly open up a lot of room for misinterpretation. Especially to non-Europeans. Unfortunately I don't know enough about that culture in order to make any further intelligent argument than what I've just said. As for you almost being assaulted for using that single occupancy ladies room, that falls under the outlying circumstances in my book. That would usuall…

This is ridiculous. Women are not brave if they hit men, they're still assholes. Sudden kiss appropriateness is subjective, there's a right time and place for them. If you go into the wrong bathroom, people assume you went in the wrong bathroom. Unless you're sitting there breathing heavily and giggling, people assume it was a mistake. Splitting the bill has never been an issue for any woman I've dated. If she values traditional gender roles that much, she's not someone I want to be dating anywa…

As long as you're telling the truth, you have nothing to worry about. ...ehhhh. I'd say that's too much faith in the system. Still, this girl should absolutely be charged for taking away nine years of a person's life.
