The best way I can put it is that when the opinion of another human being matters to you, and they then betray that by using false logic and lies, it's abuse. I don't want to appear to be against that to people who don't know of the darker side to the movement (because I'm not against the paper definition). However, if you read the links in the sidebar, you'll see that feminism is * definitely* going places where no rational person should go. 50/50 child custody split by default? 8	How to explain "Men's Rights" to friends I'm sure the FAQ touches on this. That's the problem I'm facing. I've read the FAQ, and we both know what feminism is, but the folks who I talk to simply don't. They think feminism is another word for not-misogynistic, and they have never heard the word misandry. Part of what I want to eventually do is correct this mindset, but it's a tough nut to crack. I will take your advice about personalizing the information when I relay it to my audience. 1	Why do men marry parasites? The way I see it, either gender can get involved with assholes of another gender because they are blinded by emotion. I would wager that sex, in particular, plays a roll (especially first-date-I-haven't-been-laid-in-ages sex), as does the "Forever Alone" feeling and low self-esteem. Also, society encourages marriage, and the tax system is stacked to give married couples significant benefits. 1	Feminists pissed about the recent testicular cancer PSA. I kinda agree with you there. If there were a news show that only told good news about how the world was fine, it was get canceled as soon as the ratings get in.
