But it is that bad. These men I speak of are blinded by feminist lies! They believe that women are superior to men, and that to oppose feminism is to oppose the greater sex. These are the men who would fight for the feminist element. You cannot reason with a chaotic mind, and you cannot win against an opponent who believes themselves expendable for the good of their masters unless you are well and truly stronger then them. Besides, nobody is denying men the right to eat, just the right to have s…

The problem with that is that there is a large contingent of men who would fight to the death for their womenfolk, and those who want violent, bloody revolution would have to cut through that army before they even got anywhere near the women in charge. Even if all the like-minded brutes in America got together an attempted to march on... I dunno... Cleveland, they would be cut down in short order. Not to mention the actual army, which follows the orders of the President (who is a feminist). My p…

We no longer live in such a society. Today, battles are fought in the courts, and men get pointed sticks while women get panzers.

I stand corrected, the link in the other comment to this post showing me just how fucked up the system is.

Doesn't mean she can't approach him. A tape recorder is a good idea for when this happens.

Obviously. One incident might be a red flag to the (potentially) abused party (if they know what to look for), but it's definitely insufficient to base any serious accusation on such little evidence.

It's kind of one of those things where you would have had to have been in an abusive relationship where the abuser used these tactics to understand, which is why sites like this one sound so unreasonable. The best way I can put it is that when the opinion of another human being matters to you, and they then betray that by using false logic and lies, it's abuse. Still, though, it's just one of those things. If we could get some smart people to define these abuses, it would be much better for the …

But I do want them taken seriously. I want all people to be treated equally under the law and all possible public codes and rules. Women have the feminist movement to ensure they get treated fairly, and who do men have?

That's the problem. Feminism sounds great on paper, and the definition is wonderful. I don't want to appear to be against that to people who don't know of the darker side to the movement (because I'm not against the paper definition). However, if you read the links in the sidebar, you'll see that feminism is * definitely* going places where no rational person should go. 50/50 child custody split by default? Not on a feminist's watch, etc. My aim is to show what Men's Rights is all about without …

I'm sure the FAQ touches on this. That's the problem I'm facing. I've read the FAQ, and we both know what feminism is, but the folks who I talk to simply don't. They think feminism is another word for not-misogynistic, and they have never heard the word misandry. Part of what I want to eventually do is correct this mindset, but it's a tough nut to crack. I will take your advice about personalizing the information when I relay it to my audience. Thank you for that!

The way I see it, either gender can get involved with assholes of another gender because they are blinded by emotion. I would wager that sex, in particular, plays a roll (especially first-date-I-haven't-been-laid-in-ages sex)*, as does the "Forever Alone" feeling and low self-esteem. Also, society encourages marriage, and the tax system is stacked to give married couples significant benefits. If kids are part of the equation, a sense of duty to the children could also cause the marriage. * I hav…

Damn, that's fucked up, but happily better then I expected (given the nature of the original post and whatnot).

I kinda agree with you there. I mean, if a guy is surfing around looking for hot chicks, what are the chances they'll stick around after the reveal? If I didn't know what it was for, personally it would have been a huge "nope". Of course, my opinions on what constitutes 'taste' are a bit different then the average fellow.

Thank you for this. My parents took similar pictures of my siblings and me as we were growing up, and it was (mostly) innocent fun (there were a few embarrassing pictures, but they were destroyed when we said as much). Had some do-gooder called the cops, I would have had an even shittier childhood then I already did.

The only reason this happens, and I mean only, is because terrible news sells better then good news. If there were a news show that only told good news about how the world was fine, it was get canceled as soon as the ratings get in. Advertisers won't buy ad space during a show that nobody watches :-/
