| 6 | IF I am assigned a portion of wife’s ridiculous CC balancesListen find a mediator. Not all mediators are great. My ex tried this bs with me. And said she gets 1/2 of all my wealth and not half of the martial debt. If all the money I saved is now marital so is the debt. This is a rational thought process. Not to the courts. All positives are shared but your debt is your is just crazy talk. She had no 401k. Not my fault she worked She had no stocks not my fault. She had debit and so did i I worked it out were we compared debt and 1/2 of what she owed more… | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/01/26 05:38 PM |
| 6 | Alimony - what happens when you can't payI was told by the mediator that if I went to trial I would be assigned a salary based upon my earning potential based upon my prior experience. At time of divorce I made significant less than the ex. I asked about what about her earning potential. I was told she’s has no degree and she was doing the best she could do. I had moved to a new position that had potential but wasn’t there yet. The system likes to portray every female as helpless and a victim. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/11/25 09:14 PM |
