Someone may indeed find it more valuable to sacrifice his own life for the sake of others, but at the end of the day that person is doing what feels right for him. I've found that the act of sex (orgasm, to be specific) is underwhelming. However, the thrill of the hunt is pretty powerful. To keep the libido active, I avoid masturbation despite being horny.
