It's painful to look back and realize all the overly loving statements, extra gifts I would send her for no reason, and "acts of service" (ironically her "love language" lmao), were all just pushing her away from me and making me less valuable in her eyes. Blue pill thinking is harmful, specifically because I thought I was doing all the right things.
