One of the greatest realizations of my life is accepting that I will always feel like an observer. I'm not with you on the sadist part, but I've always felt like I was observing. Even when you're with someone you love. It's has benefits, wisdom, perspective. The costs have been great though. To be relatable. True communication can be rare. Thanks for you thoughts on Peterson. I've liked his ideas generally, never been a fan boy of his just found it interesting. Trying to communicate with his fan…

No no I wasn't insulted at all, I just had to read it over a few times. I definitely agree with the idea of being alone vs being lonely. That's confused by a lot of people. Just curious, you ever heard of Jordan Peterson? I'm having some mixed feelings on him right now, and I am just genuinely curious of your personal thoughts if you first off have any and second care enough to share

You are far more well spoken than I am, and your intellect is higher. Enough that I didn't know if I was being compared to or insulted in the first sentence, so thank you for putting up with my response ha ha I don't feel I'm an empath, but definitely high on an empathy scale. I don't find other people's emotions overwhelming, I can just understand them immedietely. Even when I don't want to, which can be a drag. I definitely need to focus on myself more. That's what I'm trying to do. And I need…

Well I'm actually pretty dissapointed in your response and it honestly feels like a runaway line. To ask me to challenge and expand on my thinking and you don't have to. No matter what I just hope you're doing well

I've definitely updated it. What I saw was hatred, but that's an aspect of a community. I will be honest though, it's still not the most flattering conclusion. I feel men here might generally be better served to take more responsibility for past relationships that went wrong. I think some men here could easily be painting over their own responsibilities for what ended bad relationships and are not served well with not exploring that in the long run. I also see men who don't want to be swept up i…

I don't control those things. Neither do you. I also don't control the stock market, if an asteroid hits us or if my dog dies. None of those things were ever really in my control, but blaming others as if they were in control of it seems just as silly to me. We can go over the things we can't control all day long. But the truth is in my own actual relationships, no one has ever done anything I didn't let them participate in. Whether I'm conscious of it or not. Which is a hard truth

I don't understand what rules were talking about. You and I are just having two different converations I think so no matter what we say it's gonna pass over the other because we're trying to get to different destinations. But I do appreciate it!

I would say my realizations have been when that stuff happens, it's because I let it, it's not the fault of a people or a group. That it's my responsibility and no one else's. Anger at others is just a disguise for wanting to breakdown over the failures of myself. But I do appreciate what you're saying!

I can't take the most obvious example of that world, and apply it to people who just have a genuine interest and try to participate effectively

Well when you're eating your own, things are a shit show. Between you and me I don't know if you have any experience with Jordan Peterson and his ideas. I try to participate with others in that community and that's a learning curve that just... It's so fucked. So I can appreciate that

You've written a lot of good things here I want to think about before responding, but I wanted you to know I'm going to. So I'm going to give this some thought and edit a response before you check back in tomorrow. Thanks! So here's the conclusion/s I've come to after posting here and having some interaction, I was pretty disgusted by what I saw written. The kinds of things that if I heard a man say in person he would never be alone with my children or in my home again. Just vile sick shit that …

You're comfortable speaking for others generally, I'm not but it's cool

I thought the sentence sounded really sarcastic when you said you were right to point the finger more broadly. I thought that sounded mocking and dismissive like I was a child. I will be the first to admit I can misread things, I think you could have worded that better, but I also put intention into it

You really shot the good converation we just had right in the foot with that one. Like seriously dude. We just talked about it. That's really cheap

Okay great question. I don't know if I'm gonna be able to give you a summary, but let me express things I've seen I disagree with. It may be more helpful. I think the behaviour I have seen on some posts mimics the behaviour they're mocking. Oh women are gossipy and don't offer much and this and that. Like you're doing the same thing just on the opposite end. That if I stand objectively it's kind of comical to see a real angry feminist and a real angry MGTOW and they not realize that they're the …

It was in MGTOW. I'm not interested enough to go back to find it specifically, but it's just disgusting comments that would be aimed to hurt. What I gather the original MGTOW sub is just a hot mess of purposely going out of your way to be vile, so this one has helped clear it up. That being said not every post in the first MGTOW was gross or rude I just didn't know enough yet to say either way

I just wanted to get a sense of the community. I had never seen a group of men say such degrading, disgusting things that if you were my friend we wouldn't speak again. And you'd never be around my children. It's sick. But that's not the whole community and I wanted a sense of that.

Yeah it does a lot. While reading through other posts and the about section here I see there are some major differences in the community Something I wouldn't have known if we weren't discussing it right. Thanks

It's really not about child vs woman. I'm just trying to understand what I see as a double standard of personal responsibility and respect. I certainly don't think all members of MGTOW leave disgusting comments. I'm not stupid enough for that. But I was shocked at just the lack of care and respect and personal responsibility I saw. But it sounds like you would be to, and I appreciate that and your response

I'm asking just for clarification because I appreciate you answer but it's long and I don't want to misunderstand... If a woman worked hard on a cosplay, gonna use your example, but it's a character who has there belly button showing. Not hyper sexual, sure it's cute and nice to look at. Someone comments "Fuck wish I could see your cunt and lick that to" this is based on the kind of comments I saw on the MGTOW post. So she should have known she would get comments like that, and it's not men's re…

What is red pill vs mgtow?
/r/MGTOW207/12/18 09:40 PM

Exactly. People want to sexualize what they want to. I'm asking it's okay to force that onto adult women when you feel it's true, but it's not okay to force on a child if you feel it's true?

You're missing the point. People go to beaches and wear bathing suits. There are times that can be sexualized, and there are times you force sexualization on someone who isn't. That seems like the choice of really weak men and isn't consistent. You don't see a distinction there?
/r/MGTOW207/12/18 09:19 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
