Alright, so what do you think causes it?

Yeah it does kinda seem to come out of nowhere, plus they spend the whole message explaining how women act cold because they rightfully feel threatened. This order of women and men don’t only exist in imperialist societies but perhaps its more systematic there, it’s even more severe in like Tibet for example, you only are intimate with a woman as a man when you get married. I’d say what’s at fault in the wider world is poverty, and cultural standards to avoid pregnancy and “disgrace” to the fami…

So what would you blame? Imperialism is a big part I think why western countries aimed to create these social roles for men and women, to service all the needs of a massive inefficient empire.

Well I’m out of this community in general idk what it has devolved into, these guys lynching me for giving the definition of toxic masculinity and you are here calling men crazy aggressors out with no context to my comment or the post

I disagree, toxic masculinity is just when you change who you are to seem more manly, to fit more into the role of “man” in society. Like if you hate beer but drink it just to fit in. Or if you are overly violent just so people can’t question your masculinity when inside you are in pain. It’s a problem we have and it’s not the fault of feminists its the fault of indoctrination.

What means did the billion mile convoy had to succeed? Even now the russians are taking anyone they can to the front lines untrained people, at least ukraine mainly operates with experienced volunteers and good gear. It makes no sense in my view to say that the ukranians and volunteers in full nato gear, javelins, tanks, air support, artillery, hamars, usa satellite imagery, etc. Is the one here throwing away their men but the russians who are resorting to using older and older equipment now are…

Tens of thousands were lost taking it, real russian lives too, I don’t see any point being made here

Still a bunch of bullshit mate, no chance of taking? They are taking thousands of square kilometers a month, yes the battlefield is in the crimean steppes its flat, doesn’t mean they’re massacred or have no chance, such a subjective sensationalised point.

Clearly if its medically necessary nobody has an issue with it, but for slicing off a part of the body of a baby we all think you need a better reason than religion

Yeah, why can’t we advocate for better treatment of men in family court, better access to mental health and better safety at work, all of these affecting men more severely in most parts of the world. Men’s rights is not about not having sex with women for god’s sake!!!

I personally thought strokes were like 75% male issues, so I was really surprised when I read that the scales were roughly even on both sides. I think many people would feel the same as I, strokes are presented usually as a male disease so I don’t mind this particular statistic presented this way.

Yeah but this is one of the very rare examples where presenting data in this way is good. I think though it’s done all too often with numbers like the homeless statistics, poverty levels and when listing civillian casualties in a conflict. All lives should hold equal value and that should be more prominent in the way statistics are presented to people.

I think the importance of that is negligible compared to the actual ability of the person to do the job. Hospitals are serious places where mistakes can cost someone their lives, you won’t notice how pleasant a nurse if you are dead. In a nutshell, nurses are medical professionals not comfort women.

Yeah, the people who are the best nurses should get the job based on skill and knowledge

I’m 6’10 but don’t talk to height fetishists since not to be rude, but they’re usually very 1 dimensional in other aspects of their lives too.

Man I get that, I’m not a feminist by a long shot, but I also think talking about men’s issues is important, and while these “men’s issues” in the article hardly cover all or even the majority of men, but it is about men’s issues. I like the attitude change this seems to show, even if these feminist authors think they know what problems we have better than we do. I may have an unusal social circle, as it includes anything from teammates from american football to indie game developers, You may no…

I did read it, are you saying it’s not true? The stuff it said was kind of connected to my career life, with the nicer dudes getting paid less and the bigger douchebags make 5 times your money. Although I don’t agree with the asking for help part, since a boss should be giving help not asking for it. A boss who is less capable than his employees is basically just a burden for everyone to deal with and essentially “carry” the boss, instead of the boss leading. Just my thoughts.

I think the article said just that. tl;dr Men get punished for doing what they want to do, and that is wrong.

Yes but a moral obligation still exists. Just because he was naive, it is still not his fault because people should never abuse it in the first place. In the perfect world everyone can be naive.

Yes, but let’s not victim blame here. I’m not saying she iwes it to him, I’m saying that the decent, non-scoundrel way is to return what was done for her. Otherwise o b v i o u s l y she doesn’t technically owe it to him since he did not make her sign a document with her. Fine.

I don’t feel its about an onligation of money, but it is only fair to pull up the person who boosted you up. Otherwise it’s just the case of not wanting to do what your partner would do for you and you have not refused.

My issue is that I do think that a man has a certain responsibility to protect their own, being the strong one. When it all comes down to it, your family only has the men of the family for security. This is because men have big muscles. Dealing with mental issues is a sign of strength, but only if its done when its appropriate. SOMETIMES men DO have to be strong, assertive and brave.

Why make everything about sex? Its a book with all the words. Why does the writer’s genitals matter?
/r/MensRights09/06/19 04:22 AM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
