1	PSA: Women’s ability to have casual sex has no significant positive impact on our lives. I would argue that increased female sexual freedom is an overall good in the long run, but it’s created so much short term chaos. People forget that reliable birth control is a recent invention and that it’s undermined our preexisting sexual strategies. For most of human history, sex risked pregnancy, and the cost of a baby fell almost entirely on female shoulders. Birth control more or less removed that cost from the equation. 7	Welp! We're all sexist. If you look at the full quote, she’s clearly using feminist to mean someone who believes in equality on the basis of sex. Someone who doesn’t believe in that is sexist by definition. The interesting thing here was that both extremes got mad at her, with some feminists taking her comment to mean that their movement was no longer relevant.
