Honesty can be really refreshing sometimes, just cutting through the game and getting to the point. One of my favourite personal experiences was sitting by a creek with a girl (friends), just hanging out, and out of the blue asking her, "I'm bored, wanna make out?" Very blunt, very forward of me, but it did actually work.

I don't know what different subcultures refer to it as, but Wikipedia is with me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDMA

Probably MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy.

I'd advise against #3 really. That's a super sketchy tactic.

To be honest, this new subreddit's posts so far seem like satire.

You're comparing the subject, "it" to a unit of distance "ten feet" but treating "it" as a noun and "ten feet" as an adjective. I wouldn't look for opportunities like that, but I think it's taking it a bit far to suggest that we must avoid being helpful individuals. If one truly subscribes to the to the notion that women are plentiful and you don't need to get hung up any one individual, why not "sabotage" your chances and give a hand? I'd say it would follow the philosophy of outcome independence pretty well, being a decent person for your own benefit and not caring if you get anything extra out of it.

Now I'm curious, what was the comment?

Yeah, I agree completely. Fortunately we live in an age with many media options, so if you can come to recognize television's negative influence, you can negate it by choosing not to watch.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
