The workload in first-year is much lower than second year and much much lower than residency and if you are efficient with studying you should be able to be at or near the top of the class and still have time to A. To my institutions credit they have no patience for surgical residents who defer work to others so they can start a family and hence it is male dominated. 2	There is no easy mode. I was a built college football player at a major university, but still couldn't get women because I behaved like a beta. Why acting the part is more important than looking the part. If you are naturally the badass man then aspects of your life, such as career and physique, will tend to reflect that. 2	TRP and Medical School Also in medical school (albeit in a less tropical location). Its more than possible to go out twice, even three times a week on top of school, lifting, other pursuits etc and still beast Step 1 and match into a competitive residency. If getting women is something you enjoying doing you won't have to go monk mode in med school or residency.
