Blazer is right, I had the same issue as OP and the best thing to do is to get her out of your life and your thoughts, it's really hard but that will help you and increase your value. There's plenty fish in the sea, just get out there.

Seems to me that you got Oneitis, reading the sidebar will help you to get a different point of view. My advise: Focus on your stuff, get better in everyway. Give her attention but don't over think. It's never been healthy to attach yourself emotionally to anything besides you and your religion (If you have one). There are a million girls better than her and a million below her. I'm 23 and I feel the same, I did what most of the comments suggest "to say I'm busy". But now I find myself with only 2 "trusty" friends and feel very lonely sometimes, especially when my efforts in my goals don't seem to progress. Just be careful the people you cut off and do a slow transition, you don't know when they can be useful. Make them think is just adulthood taking you and not your real feelings.
