however... and here's the secret: they only act that way with blk men! with other men, esp white boys, they are very submissive & nice... all that confrontational shit is ghost. That doesn't make any sense. What's your logic behind this?

These numbers are ridiculously wrong. If that were the case Clinton would have over a 10% lead on Trump. The RCP average is 6.7.

Whenever TRP gets angry, it gets counterproductive. There is no reason to be mad at women. TRP is just a movement about the way things are. Passing judgment on the way things are is pointless. It can't be changed. I feel like you need to spend only a few hours reading RP philosophy and then you're good. Move on with your life. The principles are simple enough. If you're making 100 posts a year on TRP, you're wasting your life.

I once asked /r/askwomen if they would like it if a man wrote them poetry. About 90% said that they would not want their man to write them poetry.

They took the video down, crap. I really wanted to watch that. I don't think I'll have the motivation to read the transcript.

First of all, nice dishonest way to start the thread, with an ad hominem attack in the title. Who are these "pop" evolutionary psychologists that are implied in your title? Is tenured Stanford professor Robert Sapolsky a "pop" evolutionary psychologist? Is this class he taught on human behavior biology not academically rigorous enough to graduate from pop psychology to science by fair measure? The premise you base your entire post on is another logical fallacy. It's the false equivalence fallacy…

I saw you post that earlier. When I have some time I do intend to watch it and I'll comment on it here when I'm done. Thanks for posting that -- it's right up my alley.

I read a post from someone on reddit who made reference to the red pill in a negative manner. He seemed very upset by whatever the red pill was. I didn't know what it was so I googled it. First link on the google search was TRP sub. It's kinda ironic that by hating on TRP that guy contributed to its growth.

I have a question for the mods. Have you guys ever noticed any activity on this sub that you thought may be an agent provocateur?

I'm not going to claim to be an expert on evolutionary psychology; I've only spent about 2 dozen hours on the topic. I've only reviewed the works of professor Gad Saad of Concordia University in Montreal and Stanford professor Robert Sapolsky. You can actually sit through all the lectures of one of Sapolsky's classes on YouTube, Introduction to Human Behavior Biology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNnIGh9g6fA&list=PL150326949691B199&spfreload=10 I'm also not an expert on RP philosophy but ther…

I've read a little bit on evolutionary psychology the one thing that amazed me is how simple we as humans are. We are actually a lot like a colony of bees in some sense. The underlying evolutionary logic behind most of our behavior is more similar than different to other animals. We as humans aren't special snowflakes. This idea has gotten a lot of backlash from the social sciences. They are starting to come around but initially they objected to injecting biology into psychology. That's why I as…

The anger for some comes from the fact that we (men) have been lied to about what women's standards are. We thought that we were doing the right things to live up to those standards and in doing so we were punished. The anger phase comes from the defense mechanism that gets triggered when we're confronted with the fact that our attributes are not--after all--what women desire. So instead of accepting the way things are, we denigrate women for being attracted to what evolution shaped them into de…

For me the anger came from realizing how my past relationships had failed. The RP connected a lot of dots and illuminated what went wrong in those relationships. In every case where the girl broke up with me, it was clear that the reason was because I had shown weakness (lost frame). The anger came from the frustration at how women would frequently show me weakness and the fact that I was always there for them emotionally. I guess I felt that it wasn't fair to be judged for my weakness when I di…

I would really like to write final that's contrary to that. I would advise against doing this. It will hurt your grade and you won't make one bit of difference in your professor's mind. An example of what you might face from an ex girlfriend of mine. She was taking a woman's studies class and one day the topic for the day was how biology textbooks are sexist because they describe the process of conception with the sperm traveling to and penetrating the female's egg. This was an unexceptional inc…

A forum needs to added to the site IMO. Or at least be ready to launch one if this forum gets banned. If the latter is done the mods should put up a sticky that urges everyone to bookmark the site and explain how it will be our back up community if anything happens. I think it's too passive to have just a link to this site on the sidebar that only says "bookmark our off-reddit site." I'm a copywriter who does direct response marketing and I can guarantee everyone that only a small fraction of th…

I don't think getting married or not is the real dangerous thing -- it's having children. Read this before deciding to have a child. It's a personal account of the worst case scenario in a divorce. None of it has to do with assets being divided. It's all about how losing income and not being able make a child support payment will effectively destroy your life. Plus there is the emotional devastation of losing the child. This guy could only see his child twice a month and it destroyed his relatio…

It feels like a really strong symbolic move to me. The whole culture of peacocking diamond rings to impress girlfriends is pretty much the root of what's wrong with male/female relationships IMO. I think you made a major statement to her and you put her through one more qualifying filter. That's pretty brilliant. I never would have thought of doing that myself. Good stuff man, thanks for sharing. Were you at all scared that you would lose her with that demand? I know the logical thing is if it d…

I would advise against doing anything until you have applied some red pill principles in your real life and see how your life improves. I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean by this. Do you mean I have to get into a relationship to practice first or are there other areas of my life where I should be applying TRP that you're talking about? Good post too. I'm glad I was able to get an Aussie's perspective since you're so close to Asia...you probably have a better than average understanding …

I asked my girl to marry me (without any diamond ring) Was that a tactical decision to not get the ring? Was it some sort of statement that you were making? Thanks for the link btw.

I'm not asking about alphas, that's obvious. What I don't get are bad boys. From this particular video the women specify that a bad boy is someone who is a long term failure in society. It seems that would be a disadvantageous mate from an evolutionary perspective.

What is the evolutionary advantage to being attracted to bad boys for women?

I love Bill's podcast. He has an unusual amount of intellectual honesty and that honesty manifests itself as an uncanny intelligence. It seems to me that his absolute intolerance for bullshit is what gives him such unique insight into human nature. He's a really good reality check. I've learned a lot from him. I feel like I've learned to become more genuine by listening to his thought processes. It's a very valuable power to have that sort of objectivity about oneself. It takes humility and true…

The biggest danger IMO is falling in love with their kid and then having them taken away permanently. This happened to my brother. He started dating this girl when her child was still an infant. For three years he raised him as his own and loved him as his own. Then he fell on troubled financial times and she first cheats on him and then she leaves him. He'll never see the little boy whom he loves again. For him that was 10 times as hard as losing the woman.

Anyone know why she's so cool and honest? Anyone know about her history? It blows my mind that she is so vocal about all this stuff. It seems like she's doing this against her self-interest.

They simply don't understand what TRP is about. This is my first day knowing and subscribing to this sub, so I may not understand everything yet. But from what I've read so far it seems that TRP is not about hating women but about being objective and honest as to what the rules of the game are and how to use that information to play it as well as one can. Women do that and don't hide the fact that they do. Why can't men strategize as well? I have to say that so far I am blown away by this sub. I…

Just Googled Gladwell's latest book, "David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants." Looks really good. I think I'm going to buy it. Thanks for mentioning it.

I recommend reading "Mastery" by Robert Greene. It's a brilliant book about how the masters--such as Darwin, da Vinci, and others--became so great. It's a really motivating book. I think the best point that "Mastery" makes, that many people don't understand, is that one doesn't need to be brilliant to become a master of something. In fact sometimes natural talent is an impediment to mastery because the talented person relies too much on talent and doesn't fully develop the work ethic necessary f…
