Just because she is female and she happens to be good doesn't equate to girl power, because nobody else acknowledges it nor is it really afforded to her BECAUSE she is a woman... she's just really good at what she does. Her being a woman was nearly completely irrelevant to the plot and definitely irrelevant in respects to her abilities. There was no shoe horning of "girl power" messages or ham fisted "I can do anything a man can do" in there, she was just straight up bad ass and competent without it being a "thing".
